LIGA RESOLUTION NO. 2024-01

A RESOLUTION ON THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW LIGA TREASURER FOR THE

LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY -MALALAG CHAPTER

WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XI Section 1& 2 of the Liga ng mga Barangay

Constitution and By-Laws, there shall be an appointed Liga Treasurer that will
perform the following functions:

1. To be the custodian of all Liga chapter’s assets, properties, funds, and securities,
and to submit to the local executive board,through the president, an annual inventory
thereof at the end of the year and for the above purpose, to maintain a bank account,
if necessary, with the President as co-signatory, in the name of Liga chapter;

2. To collect and receive fees, contributions, donations, money, materials, and all
other resources accorded to the Liga treasury,for which he shall issue the
corresponding official receipts;

3. To disburse funds, under the authority of the president, in accordance with

standard accounting and auditing procedures;

4. To render the monthly report to the local executive board during monthly meetings
or whenever called upon by the board to do so;

5. To submit to the President an audited annual financial statement duly certified by

him and the auditor;

6. To certify the availability of funds whenever necessary;

7. To post bond for the faithful performance of duties; and,

8. To perform such other functions as may be assigned by the President and/or

Local Executive Board.

WHEREAS, Hon. Rido D. Arellano, is appointed by the Liga ng mga Barangay-

Malalag Chapter as the new LIGA Treasurer in lieu of Hon. Rosita Angel’s
resignation.

WHEREAS, Hon. Rido D. Arellano, possesses all the qualifications and none of the
disquaifications to the position as the new LIGA Treasurer;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. ____________________________, duly

seconded by ______________________;

BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the above appointed LIGA

Treasurer of Liga ng mga Barangay- Malalag Chapter is hereby CONCURRED;

, that the copy of this resolution be furnished all offices concerned.
