A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DEVELOPMENT BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES
(DBP) TACLOBAN CITY BRANCH AS DEPOSITORY BANK OF THE
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN AND AUTHORIZING THE SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN CHAIRPERSON HON. RICHARD T. ROSALES AND SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN TREASURER

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Brgy. 91 Abucay agreed and
approved to authorize SK Chairperson HON. RICHARD T. ROSALES and SK
Treasurer MR. KENT O. MINISTERIO as the official depository and signatories of the
account.

WHEREAS, Chapter II, Sec. 20, Paragraph (a) of the Republic Act No. 10742,
otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides that:
“Ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the
Sangguniang Kabataan. The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the Sangguniang
Kabataan funds in lump-sum which shall be disbursed solely for youth development and
empowerment purposes”.

WHEREAS, Chapter II, Sec. 20, Paragraph (b) of the Republic Act No. 10742,
otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 provides that:
“The SK shall have a financial independence in its operation, disbursement and
encashment of their fund, income and expenditures. The SK shall open a current
account name of the SK in the bank, preferably government owned, situated in or
nearest to its jurisdiction, with the SK Chairperson and the SK Treasurer as the official
signatories.

NOW THEREFORE, be upon motion of SK Kagawad HON. JOSEPH AARON J. DEL

VALLE duly seconded by SK Kagawads, HON. ALVIN B. MAGBANUA, HON. CLARK
LOUIS H. REAL, HON. JEORGIE CAMILLE S. HUGHES and approved by the body,
be it as it is hereby resolved; the AUTHORIZATION OF DEVELOPMENT BANK OF
THE PHILIPPINES (DBP) TACLOBAN CITY BRANCH AS DEPOSITORY BANK OF
THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN AND AUTHORIZING THE SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN CHAIRPERSON HON. RICHARD T. ROSALES AND SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN TREASURER MR. KENT O. MINISTERIO AS THE OFFICIAL
SIGNATORIES TO ACCOUNT NO.,_________________.
