2023 SCHOOL PRESS CONFERENCE IN

ENGLISH AND FILIPINO

1. In compliance with the provision of Republic Act. 7079, otherwise known as

the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the 2023 School Press Conference in
English and Filipino will be held on November 13-15, 2023 at ROES Library

2. The conference aims to:

Provide awareness and understanding of social change through varied
●
approaches showcasing the different categories of school publication.
Enhance the competencies of pupils through journalism and other related
●
simulation exercises.
Prepare the participants for the coming 2023 District/ Division Schools Press
●
Conference.

3. Contestants for photojournalism are allowed to use any Digital Cameras or

cellphone.
4. Contestants for editorial cartooning shall use pencil, technical pens and other
tools for the purpose.
5. Submission of outputs will be done through Google Forms for each category.
6. Attached are enclosures 1-3, schedule of activities and the different working
committees for reference.
7. Dissemination of the content of this memorandum to all concerned is
earnestly desired.
