Contextualized DAILY LESSON LOG (WLP) and Teaching Strategies aligned to
2C-21-1R PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES

To: Teachers of English

1. In line with DepEd Order no 42, s 2017 entitled: NATIONAL ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF
THE PHILIPPINE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS and Relative to Republic Act NO. 10533
“Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013” Emphasize section 5 (e) The DepED shall adhere to the following
standards and principles in developing the enhanced basic education curriculum: The curriculum shall use
pedagogical approaches that are constructivist, inquiry- based, reflective, collaborative, and integrative;
The curriculum shall use the spiral progression (h) The curriculum shall be flexible enough to enable and allow
schools to localize, indigenize and enhance the same based on their respective educational and social contexts.
And in accordance to The Workplace Application Project (WAP) ITEACH (Inclusive Teaching that are
Engaged, Adaptable, Competent and Holistic)
The Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation for the
K to 12 Basic Education Program.
English department will hold Learning Action Cell on crafting Daily Lesson Log using 4A’s Format with the use
of 2C-2I-1R Pedagogical Approaches suited to the needs of the students on February 27, 2023, at 11:30 AM to
1:00 PM in our school library, second floor of new building.
The following objectives for this LAC Session are as follow:
 Crafting DLL using 4A’s Format;
 Review the pedagogical approaches on 2C-2I-1R that can be used in crafting the DLL;
 Conduct LAC Session that promotes inclusive teaching thru utilizing appropriate teaching and learning
strategies;
2. Attached herewith are the technical working group, and Process Observation Tool
3. Immediate and widest dissemination of this memorandum is directed
