 A nail disorder is a condition that


can be treated

“having a nail disorder can affect the


appearance or our toenails and
fingernails. Without timely treatment,
nail disorders can continue to worsen
and significantly impair performance of
daily activities and reduce quality of
life. Examination of the nails is
essential at every medical visit.”

Here is a list of the common nail


disorders their characteristics.

is not carrying enough oxygen to the
fingertips. There are many possible
causes, including heart and lung
diseases. Anyone with blue nails should
seek medical advice. In some cases,
