 Adjustment Instruction for LOKRING assembly tool
without tube flaring
1. The LOKRING is not pushed over far enough.

1.1 Find out adjustment size.

Adjustment size is nominal size minus actual size.

Beispiel: a = nominal size 2,0

mm (min. 0,5 mm)
b = actual size
0,0 mm

1.2 Adjust position of control pin (pos. 9)

Disassemble jaw pos. 6 from jaw housing pos. 5 by removing pos. 16 Loosen securing screw
pos. 44. Remove stop screw pos. 40. Beat out control pin pos. 9 with appropriate tool by according
adjustment measure. Screw in and fix stop screw.

Screw down securing screw. Assemble then jaw with jaw housing lever again.

Check, if clamping jaws pos. 8 can be opened that far, that the tube can be layed in easily.

In case it is not, the set screw pos. 46 has not be screwed out after loosening the counter nut pos. 47 that
far, that the clamping jaws pos. 8 can be opened unobjectionable again.

Screw down counter nut pos. 47 of the set screw pos.46.

The LOKRING assembly tool is ready for use again.

2. The LOKRING is pushed over too far.

2.1 Find out adjustment size.

Adjustment size is actual size minus nominal size.

Beispiel: b = actual size

5,0 mm
a = nominal size
2,0 mm (max. 3 mm)

2.2 Adjust position of control pin (pos. 9)

Disassemble jaw pos. 6 from jaw housing pos. 5 by removing pos. 16 Loosen securing screw
pos. 44. Remove stop screw pos. 40. Beat in control pin pos. 9 with appropriate tool by according
adjustment measure. Screw in and fix stop screw.

Screw down securing screw. Assemble then jaw with jaw housing lever again.

Included angle of jaw housing lever can be reduced now.

For this purpose screw in the set screw pos. 46 after loosening the counter nut pos. 47 that far, that the
clamping jaws pos. 8 can be opened so far that the tube can be layed in easily.

Screw down counter nut pos. 47 of the set screw pos.46.

The LOKRING assembly tool is ready for use again.

Instruction for the exchange of the pressure spring pos.11

Screw the grub screw pos.29 into the piston tip pos.3 and lock it by using the
grub screw pos.45.

Push the pressure spring over the piston body pos.2.1 of the
piston body complete pos.2.

Push the bush pos.58.1 complete with the both piston guiding rings pos.58.2
over the pressure spring pos.11.

Lock the bush complete pos.58 at the piston body pos.2.1 by using the
piston tip pos.3 and the grub screw pos. 29.
Screw the piston tip pos.3 and the grub screw pos. 29 complete inside the
piston body pos. 2.1.

Take this unit and push it into the empty casing pos.1.
Please take notice that the running faces of the piston tip must be in a right angle to the
torsion bore of the grub screw pos. 42.

Push the distance sleeve pos.61 over the piston tip pos.3 and screw the tool head pos.4 at the
casing pos.1.
Lock this unit by using the grub screw pos.42.
