I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Identify the simple rhythmic patterns using stick notation
b. Perform proper counting and rhythmic syllables of each notes.
c. Apply kinds of notes and rhythmic pattern to song.
e. Energizer
The teacher tell the students to stand up for their energizer.

B. Review
As a sort of review the teacher will ask some questions to the students
from the previous discussion.
a. What is our topic last time?
b. What is the different between notes and rest?
C. Activity
The teacher will watch a video and the teacher will call on a random
student to answer the question.

The teacher will discuss the rhythmic patterns using the stick notation
What is rest?
-A rest is silence for a premeasured amount of time. It could be a 4 bar rest, or a quarter
note rest, a half note rest or an eighth rest. A note that is “not just being there” is really called a
ghost note
F. Application
The teacher will group class into 4 groups and assign 1 song in each
group and perform at front of the class.
