The Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Florita strikes Isabela, Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos region and
other parts of Luzon on the 23 rd day of August 2022. Severe typhoon, Florita, brought torrential
rains, violent winds resulting to flash floods and landslides. Agricultural crops like palay and
corn were damaged due to strong winds and heavy rainfall. People living in the flooded area
evacuated to a safer place. Some bridges collapsed and some roads were unpassable due to
landslides.

 I felt nervous about it because of the possible outcome and the damage to be done
by the strong typhoon.
