NOTES
Using different yarn/hook size than suggested may affect the finished appearance of the
outfit/accessories and may use more/less yarn than called for in the pattern.
The yarn under technique or "x" stitch technique was used to make the elf outfit and accessories.
For the pants, boots, and hat, use the same brand and weight of yarn you used to make your toad if
possible to ensure that the outfit will fit correctly.
Use a 2.5mm hook unless otherwise stated.
Use the invisible single crochet increase and decrease for the boots, hat, present, and cookies
unless otherwise stated in the pattern. This is optional but will help prevent gaps.
The pictures in this pattern show the stitch marker in the last stitch unless otherwise stated.

Flatten and bend the end of the hat down between rnds 15 and 16. Sew in place using the yarn tail left
from the hat (PIc. 23). I recommend fitting the hat on your toad before sewing so you can adjust where
you would like the hat to bend.
