It is established to a proper procedure for return of goods having non conformance with the
pre established specifications.

2- SCOPE:

It is applicable to quality control department.

2- RESPONSIBILITY:

MICROBIOLOGIST

ANALYST

Q.A OFFICER

Q.A MANAGER

Q.C. MANAGER

3- PROCEDURE:

Transfer Return goods to to area for “return goods and rejected goods”
Non conformance report is issued by Q.A department indicating complete detail of product with total
quantity of receipt.
Non conforming material is differentiated from others by indicating and marking “return”. This
report by Q.A AND Q.C and ware house department.

Q.A department inspects immediately for following categories:

a. No defect, return to inventory.

b. The product is defective or allegedly defective, require Q.C assessment and have to
complete complaint report.

c. The product was damaged in transit, will require re-labeling, re- packing or rejection.

d. The Q.C laboratory indicates the result of the assays and other characteristics and if
acceptable then releases the material back to inventory.

e. If the product does not meet the pre-established specifications it will not be salvaged in any
way.
