Greetings in peace in the Lord Jesus Christ! I hope this letter finds you well.
DepEd Order No. 35, s.2016, the Learning Action Cell. A SLAC aims to improve
student learning and general school performance through collaborative problem-
solving, data analysis, and decision-making, as these activities can improve teacher’s
competencies and student learning outcomes.
The Biñan City Senior High School- Timbao Campus will be having its School
Learning Action Cell for the faculty entitled “Making Homemade Longganisa A
Livelihood Program for Parents” as stipulated in the Sustainable Livelihood
Program (SLP) since 2011, with the objective to reduce poverty and inequality by
generating employment among poor households and by moving highly vulnerable
households into sustainable livelihoods and toward economic stability.
As the SLAC Coordinator, who intends to help our school and its stakeholder like
parents, I am seeking your permission from your good office to conduct a face-to-face
School Learning Action Cell on April 26, 2024 in the school.
Attached herewith are the SLAC activity proposal/plan, matrix, and working
committees for your extensive review.

The activity is free of charge and the participants are the SPTA Officers and
Faculty Association officers of BCSHS-Timbao Campus.
G. Proponent/s:
This activity is spearheaded by the School Head, Marlon B. Flores, and the SLAC
proponents, Noli L. Parol, and Nino Tomas R. Del Monte.
H. Rationale:
Livelihood programs seek to improve the state of life of the low-income
sector by giving jobs and business chances, health care access, and other
forms of assistance. These programs aim to enhance community capacity to
address the issues of poverty. It may be in the form of making laws and plans
or giving skills training to help the people become more productive members
of society. Other program leaders may also partner with both local and private
sectors to reach more audience and gather sponsors.
All in all, these initiatives give people a chance to share efforts to build
their households, making them active agents of change.

The Biñan City Senior High School- Timbao Campus will be having its School

Excellence: Strategies for Effective Learning, Monitoring, Evaluation,
and Feedback” as articulated in the DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2022, also
known as the Basic Education Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
(BEMEF) where the school M&E system aims to provide school heads,
teachers, non-teaching staff, and communities with critical insights, lessons,
and timely information on the performance of all learners, their needs, as well
as barriers preventing active participation in the teaching and learning
process.
