1.Drops Lima Yarn(or similar yarn):
Length/Weight: can be 100m in 50 g (109yards in 50g)
Yarn Weight: 8 ply / DK / worsted (Length/Weight is more important)
Texture: Plied
Blend: 65% Wool, 35% Alpaca A col.(A2) B col. C col.
Total weight(if use recommended yarn):
A col. = Light beige(0206)(off-white) about 100 grams. Light beige Sea green Rust
B col. = Sea green (9018)(dark grey) about 50 grams. (0206) (9018) (0707)
C col. = Rust (0707)(bright grey) about 50 grams.
2.Drops Nepal Yarn(or similar yarn):
A2 col. Light beige = 50 grams in 75m
Or you can use the same beige (A col) and use bigger hook
that stated in the pattern for the headband

Long SC – Long Single Crochet (spike) single crochet stitches that you work into either the tops of stitches
or spaces between stitches one or more rows below the current row, creating a vertical spike of
yarn that extends over several rows of stitches.
Comments:
- Crochet in rows turning at the end of each row
- Crochet in round: you must join each round with a slip stitch. Work sl st into the first st of the round.
The beginning chain does not count as a stitch unless specified in the pattern
How to SINGLE CROCHET in Rows 1:

Make a slip knot and chain as many as pattern says. Bring the yarn over the hook from back to front,
skip the first one chain from the hook and then insert the hook in the second chain.
How to SINGLE CROCHET in Rows 2 and etc.:

you need to bring the yarn or thread up to the correct height for the next row. To raise the yarn, we
chain 1 (this is called the turning chain, don’t count as stitch) so the first single crochet is worked in the
first stitch.
How to SINGLE CROCHET in JOINED ROUNFD:

To raise the yarn, we chain 1 (turning chain, don’t count as stitch), in this case we single crochet in first
stitch, joining slip stich is worked in chain (count as 1 stitch).
How to DOUBLE CROCHET in Row 1:

Make a slip knot and chain as many as pattern says. Bring the yarn over the hook from back to front,
skip the first three chains from the hook and then insert the hook in the fourth chain
How to DOUBLE CROCHET in ROWS 2 and etc.:

To begin the second row, turn your work. Now you need to bring the yarn up to the correct height to
work the next row. To raise the yarn, Chain three for the turning chain (until different is stated in the
pattern).
The three chains in the turning chain just make count as the first double crochet of the new row. So skip
the first double crochet and work a double crochet in the second stitch.
It’s possible, we chain 2 for the turning chains. In this case, we count it as DC but we do not skip the first
st, we work next the double crochet in the first stitch.
How to DOUBLE CROCHET in JOINED ROUND:

To raise the yarn, we chain 2 (turning chains, don’t count as st), in this case we double crochet in first
stitch, joining slip stich is worked in 2nd chain (count as 1 stitch)
ABBREVIATIONS:
Example 1: 2DC means we work DC 1 time into the next 2 stitches.
Example 2: 5SC means we work SC 1 time into the next 5 stitches.
Example 3: SC/DC/Ch means we work SC/ DC/ 1 Ch.
Example 4: [2DC, Ch, 2DC] means you work all stated stitches into one stitch in a following order

Working into vertical rows. In one piece. Start from the right front, then the

The vest is made with yarn over sl st. The only difference is that the yarn over
sl st are made into back loop / into 3rd loop at front/ into front loop.
Attention! To make a neat good-looking row while making a ribbed crochet
edge you need to:
1) Remember to make the last stitch into the last stitch of the prev
row.
2) Turn your work to the same side at the end of each row(clockwise
or counterclockwise).
