You recently bought some food at a supermarket, but, when you got home, you
found that the food was in bad condition. Write a letter to the manager of the
supermarket.
In your letter,
– explain what happened to you
– give details of the day and time of the purchase
– ask the manager what he/she intends to do about your experience

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a regular customer at Nelly’s supermarket and have never experienced a lack
of quality in your products. However, last week, I made a rather disappointing
purchase at your store that I would like to complain about.
Last Friday, I purchased a series of products that proved to be very unacceptable in
quality and condition. Firstly, a bag of mandarins were completely covered in
mould. I could not see this when I was at the supermarket, as the bag was covered
in advertisements and the mandarins were not visible. Furthermore, I bought three
pineapples, two of which had worms in the middle when I cut them open at home.
Lastly, two sets of Vanilla Yoghurt were also three weeks past their sell-by date.
This did not actually cause a problem as they were still in a good condition, but I
noticed this as I began to inspect everything after having detected the damaged
mandarins and pineapples.
I made these purchases on Friday the 12th of October, at around 3pm in the
afternoon and I would now like to know what you intend to do about this problem.
Is there a possible refund or other means of compensation?
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
John Bloomsrock

You recently received a letter from your bank that should have contained a new
credit card. Unfortunately, the card was not in the letter.
Write a letter to your bank manager.
In your letter,
– explain what has happened
– suggest the credit card should be cancelled for security reasons
– ask when a new credit card can be sent to you

Dear Sir / Madam,

I recently requested a new credit card, as my old one was stolen during a holiday
abroad. Even though the letter usually containing the credit card and its respective
access information arrived on time, the credit card was missing and I would like to
report this to you.
When the letter arrived, no visible signs were evident that the letter had been
opened, but when I inspected the letterhead closely, there were small scratches
that could indicate tampering. I believe that for security reasons this newly
requested credit card should be cancelled immediately in order to avoid any
criminal use. It may have been a technical issue, but it is also possible that a thief
was responsible.
Lastly, I would like to know when a new credit card will be sent to me, as I will be
going on a business trip in the near future and need it urgently.
Best wishes,
Marianne Bolton

You and some friends want to start a weekly dance club and you have found a hall
that would be suitable to hold your meetings. Write
a letter to the owner of the hall.
In your letter,
– explain your and your friends’ project
– ask if it is possible to rent the hall and under what terms
– state what day and what times you would like to use the hall

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a student at Mason College and I would like to enquire about the event hall
that you own in the city centre.
My friends and I are trying to establish a weekly dance club session and have been
on the lookout for a suitable location. The dance club will be focused on Charleston
and Rock ‘N’ Roll dancing, which are becoming increasingly popular at our college.
Having inquired at the city’s town hall, I have been given your contact information
and would like to ask whether it is possible to rent your hall and what the conditions
would be for this. We would need the hall every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. During public holidays and college semester breaks, the hall will not be
needed. I would be happy to meet you at the hall one evening after my classes to
discuss the possibility of this rental.
I hope to hear back from you soon with a positive reply.

You would like to borrow a good camera from a friend. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter,
– ask your friend if you can borrow the camera
– explain why you want to borrow the camera
– say when you want it and when you will return it

Dear Roy,
I am participating in a theatre event at college next week and have been designated
the photographer’s role. I know that you have a single-lens reflex camera of very
good quality and would like to ask you if I may borrow it for this event.
The event is next Saturday and Sunday, as there are two performances, and I will
be sitting in the audience and going around to get close-ups of the actors. I would
need the camera from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you are happy
to leave the camera with me overnight, that would be easier. I promise to take
good care of it and lock it away as soon as I am otherwise engaged. I can return the
camera to you either on Sunday evening or Monday morning, depending on what
suits you best.
Please tell me as soon as possible if you are willing to lend me your camera, as I
need to tell my teachers if I will be taking part in the event.

A close relative of yours is having a birthday lunch next week, but you know you
will be working.
Write a letter to your boss or supervisor to ask for some time off.
In your letter,
– explain the situation and why you particularly want to attend the lunch
– specify the dates, times and amount of time off you will need
– offer to work late or come in early another time to make up for the time

Dear Mr. Jones,

I am writing this letter to request that you permit me to leave work early next week,
on Tuesday, June twenty-second. It will be my grandmother’s eighty-fifth birthday
and she is planning an elaborate family lunch beginning at one p.m. and lasting the
remainder of the day. She and I are very close, my grandmother having almost
raised me as a child, and both she and myself would be very disappointed if I were
not able to attend. She has not celebrated her birthday significantly since her
children were born and this day will be very special to the whole family.
I am very aware that I would be missing valuable time at the office, but I can assure
you that I will make the time up by working late for several days. As you know, I
have been a dedicated employee during the three years I have worked for this
company and I can assure you that this dedication will not change.
Please consider my request and thank you for your time.

A new neighbour has moved in next door and has taken your main rubbish bin.
Write a letter to your new neighbour requesting that they return the item. In the
letter:
- Explain that new bins must be sourced from the local council
- Request that the person returns your bin immediately
- Inform the person of what further actions you will take should they not return
your bin

Dear new neighbour,

First of all, welcome to the neighbourhood.
I live at number 10, next door to you, and I’m writing to you because I saw you take
my bin into your garden on the day you moved in. I’m sure you were convinced
that it must have been yours, but I had simply left it outside for collection. If your
bin is missing, you should call the council and have them deliver a new one.
I cannot, however, live without a bin. I already have a bag in my kitchen waiting to
be taken out, and so I’m forced to request that you return my bin immediately. Feel
free to leave any rubbish it already contains, but if you don’t return the bin within
48 hours, I will feel it necessary to involve the council.
I hope we can resolve this conflict as quickly as possible, as I’m sure we’d make
great neighbours otherwise.

You would like to work in a different city to be closer to your family.
Write a letter to your employer to request a transfer to another office. In the letter:
- Explain why you would like to move
- Request that your employer place you in a specific city
- Request that it be completed by a certain date

Dear Management,
My name is Peter Mandelson and I have been a loyal employee of HMG Inc. for
over twelve years. Currently, I am a floor manager working in the Urmston branch.
It has recently come to my attention that my wife’s father now requires full time
care, and I would like to request that I be transferred to a different office so that
we may be more involved.
I am aware that the company operates an office and factory in Devon, and working
here would mean being close enough to my father-in-law. If my exact role is not
available at the Devon site, I am willing to interview for other relevant jobs and
consider them on a case-by-case basis.
Unfortunately, this is a time sensitive issue, and so I would like to further request
that I receive confirmation of the transfer within the next 30 days, or I may have to
consider leaving the company entirely.

You live near a record shop that sells music, movies, and books.
Write a letter to the shop asking if they have a few different items that you are
looking for.
- Ask what the prices are and if they can be orders
- Ask when they would arrive and if you can have them held in advance.

Dear Sir or Madame,

My name is Jennifer and I am a student living near your store. I prefer supporting
local businesses, which is why I am writing you this letter. There are some rare
music albums and movies that I am interested in purchasing and I am wondering if
I can ask you to order them to your shop so that I can buy them from you.
The first is a music album entitled “The Sounds of Mysteries,” by the artist JJJ. The
second item is a movie called, “When the Wind Knows,” directed by Sammy
Stillpen. If it is possible for you to order these for me, I would be greatly
appreciative.
It would also be great if you could tell me what the total cost would be and when I
could pick these items up. You can reach me by phone or email at your
convenience.
Thank you,

You recently used a taxi and left some important documents there. Write a letter
to the taxi manager and say:
– Describe what you left and where it happened.
– Why are these papers important?
– What would you like the manager to do about it?

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing in regards to a recent journey I made in a vehicle from your fleet on
June 1st, 2018, more specifically, from London Mayfair to Piccadilly station, starting
around 4 pm and finishing 30 minutes later.
Immediately after entering the taxi that afternoon I immediately started reviewing
some very important documents containing confidential client data. I have strong
reason to believe I left these documents in the cab upon reaching the destination.
These papers are of enormous value because of the information contained, and if
they fall into the wrong hands there could be profoundly serious implications for
myself, and possibly your firm too. The documents concern an extremely sensitive
governmental topic regarding national security, it is therefore of paramount
importance they are found and returned to me as soon as possible.
As a result of this, I need your firm to check the security camera in the cab of the
aforementioned date and time, and please send a copy to this email address:
sample@sample.com. In addition, I would be terribly grateful if you could forward
the contact details of the driver as I would like to contact him before the situation
spirals out of control.
Your assistance in this matter is of dire importance, furthermore, I would like to
believe we can solve this between ourselves without the Police or MI5 interference.

Mr. Worthington

You have recently moved to a new neighbourhood and would like to join a sports
centre there. You have found a private sports club.
Write a letter to the manager of the sports club. In your letter,
• introduce yourself
• say why are you interested in this sports club
• ask some questions about the club e.g facilities, membership, costs etc.

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Carl Puran, and I have recently moved to the neighbourhood of Old
Spandau. I am writing this letter to get some information about your sports centre.
I have been either a member of a sports club or gym wherever I have lived because
you can say, I am very health conscious. So, after moving into this new
neighbourhood, naturally, I felt the need to join a sports club or gym; and then
found out about your sports club which is located very near where I live. Apart from
this convenient distance, I would like to join your club also because the majority of
the members of this club are of my age, or at least, that is what I have heard. So it
would be easier for me to relate to them or befriend a few of them. But, most
importantly, your sports club remains open during the weekends also when I
usually have more time to enjoy the club activities.
But, before I join your club, I have a couple of questions. Does the club have any
children’s playground since I would bring my child with me also, sometimes? And,
how much is the cost of membership?
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Carl Puran

You have learned from a news article that a real estate company is going to build a
shopping centre near your home. However, you think that the shopping centre
should not be built there.
Write a letter to the city counsellor. In your letter,
• say how you have learned about the plan
• explain how it is going to negatively affect the residential area where you live
• say what you think the city council should do about it

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a resident of Woodley in Berkshire, and I have decided to write this letter after
reading a recent news article about the plan to build a shopping centre in our
residential area. Needless to say, we do not really like this idea, and I hope that you
would take the necessary initiatives to halt this project which would otherwise
disrupt the peaceful lives of the residents.
Our residential area is already over-populated, with not enough streets and parking
spaces. Of course, the shopping centre will have its own parking spaces, but
sometimes, those parking spaces just might not be enough to accommodate all the
cars. And if that is the case, the mall visitors most likely would park their cars in our
streets and parking spaces, making our streets even more crowded. The
commotions, businesses and people would make our peaceful residential area
worse to live in.
Another problem is that our residential area has a sizable, college and university-
going, young population who, most likely, would start wasting their time in the
shopping centre in the name of socializing and having fun, instead of focusing on
their studies.
These are just some of the possible negative effects, but they should be good
enough to convince you to relocate this shopping centre to a commercial area,
away from any residential areas.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Keith Marshall

Your employer has recently allowed some employees to work remotely from home.
You would also like to work from home.
Write a letter to the HR manager for permission to work from home for the next
six months. In your letter,
• mention why you are writing
• explain why you would like to work from home
• say how this can benefit you and the company

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to seek your permission to avail the “work from home”
facility for the next six months starting from the beginning of the next month. I am
hoping that you would consider my request and permit me to work from home.
And I am dubbing this a “great opportunity” because it would definitely help me
save a lot of time that is wasted commuting to and from the office, especially, when
I live a bit too far from my office due to some family reasons. Moreover, less time
in road traffic could also mean less stress, and when we have more time to finish
our work and less stress, we are usually more productive at work.
This arrangement would benefit both me and the office as I would be able to work
more hours per week to finish the deadlines.
I am hoping that you would agree to let me work from home for the next six months
starting from 1st February.
Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,

Write a letter to the manager of the HR department of a company requesting
information about the interview that you attended but still waiting for results.
In your letter,
• describe the position you applied for
• why you think the interview went well
• why you need the result of the interview

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Jamie Ferguson, and I am writing this letter to enquire about the status
of my job application and interview.
I applied for the position of Management Trainee at your company, and my
interview took place on 14th March. Unfortunately, I have not got any decision yet
from your end, even though I was told that the human resource department would
inform me about a hiring decision on me within one week of the interview.
I am contacting you also because I thought that I did excellent in the interview.
After all, four people quizzed me for almost 30 minutes, and yet, I never stumbled
for once. At the end of my interview, they even told me that they were very
impressed with my performance.
I need to know the result of this interview because I will have to decide on whether
or not to renew my apartment lease within the next week or move to another area.
If I am selected for the job, I will renew the rental lease.
So, I hope that you understand the urgency of my situation and be kind enough to
let me know about a hiring decision on me at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Jamie Ferguson

children.
Write a letter to the head of the school. In your letter,
• say why you want to join the team
• mention what you can do to assist
• also ask questions related to the trip

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am the father of one of your students called Terry Anderson, and I am writing this
letter to explore the possibility of joining you on a trip to Italy that the school has
arranged.
I want to accompany your team as it will allow me to visit Italy, which once upon a
time used to be the centre of world civilization, and have many attractive places to
visit and many exciting activities to participate in. I also want to join the team to
have a great time, and that too with my son! Besides, this trip will allow me to see
a long-time friend of mine with whom I studied together at a foreign university who
is originally from Italy.
By the way, including me in your team would certainly be an advantage because I
can speak Italy. I can also free the youngsters from their boredom by sharing some
funny and interesting stories with them. Besides, I also know how to prepare some
quick snacks in case they go hungry.
But, before I really join you, I have a couple of questions to ask. Will I be allowed to
roam around in the city separately with my son? Will there be other staff members
with us to help the children?
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,

You are preparing an event in the countryside.
Write a letter to your friend and ask for help with the arrangements. In your letter,
• describe the event
• mention what arrangements have already been made
• say how your friend can help

Dear Andrew,
Hope you're doing well. I'm writing this letter to you because I need your help in
arranging an event in the countryside next week.
This particular event is going to be about raising awareness against the obesity
problem among young children. Since obesity among children is higher than ever
before, I, as a youth sports coordinator in my district, want to do something to
change it.
As for making this event successful, I've already put together a plan for the sports
and outdoor activities, in which young children can take part. Besides, I've also
arranged for a mini-concert where young artists will perform to entertain the
children. By the way, I also have invited some distinguished guests and health
specialists, whose inputs on this particular issue would certainly go a long way to
change the eating habits of the children in favour of a more balanced and healthy
diet.
So, you can say that I've covered a large portion of it to make this event successful,
but I could certainly use help from you in arranging some healthy and fresh foods
for our guests. After all, you are a nutritionist, and a very good one.
Warm wishes,

You recently sent some documents by post, but they did not arrive at the
destination.
Write a letter to the post office manager. In your letter,
• give details of the situation
• describe the documents
• say what action you want the post office to take

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to enquire about a postal mail, containing some important
documents, which I sent about 16 days ago. Since it is yet to reach its destination,
I am hoping that you would help me locate and retrieve it.
With regards to the mail, I sent it on Monday, last 24th October, and it was
supposed to arrive at its destination within 5 working days. But, unfortunately, 12
working days have already passed, and the recipient is yet to receive the
documents. Of course, a few days ago, I contacted your office and provided them
with the mail tracking number, but all they could say at that time was that the mail
was picked up the very next day from your post office and had already reached its
final destination.
The documents included the original birth certificate, a filled-up form, and name
correction documentation of my younger brother, without which he can not get his
international passport renewed on time.
So, if you please have someone contact the concerned personnel in the post office
at the other end, where the mail is supposed to arrive, to retrieve the documents
at the earliest, I will really appreciate it.

You have recently travelled on a train and unfortunately left your luggage.
Write a letter to the manager of the Lost and Found department of the railway
regarding the luggage you accidentally left on the train. In your letter,
• give details of your train trip
• describe the luggage you left on the train
• say what actions you want him/her to take

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to reach out to you to seek help to find a piece of lost luggage
of mine which, I am assuming, I left by mistake on one of your trains.
I was travelling on Monday morning by “TVG Bullet Express” that left “Kuchin”
railway station at around 7:30 am and headed towards the city of “Freetown”. My
destination was “Anniston” station, and that was exactly where I got off the train.
But, unfortunately, I might have left one of my luggage on the train by mistake,
trying to leave the station in a hurry.
The luggage that I lost was medium in size, maroon in colour and made by the
"TravelPro" brand. The bag was made of some waterproof, polyester fabric and
contained mostly clothing, cosmetics and books when I lost it, and the bag has short
handles.
So, please follow the standard procedures to find my luggage and send it to me at
the address I provided here. I will pay the shipping cost of the parcel on delivery.
For your convenience, I am sending a copy of my train ticket.
I hope to hear from you soon.

You recently went to a movie theatre to enjoy a movie, but unfortunately, you left
your jacket there.
Write a letter to the manager of the movie theatre about the jacket. In your letter,
• describe the jacket

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Justin Phillip, and I am reaching out to you to ask for a favour. I left my
jacket at your theatre a couple of days ago, and I would like you to help me get it
back.
I left my jacket at your movie theatre by mistake when I went there to watch a
movie on 19th August. Not sure why or exactly how I could have possibly made
such a silly mistake, but I guess that I might have just left it by my side unconsciously
as I was probably feeling a bit too hot inside the theatre.
To give you some information about my jacket, it is black in colour, fully made of
leather, and it also had a round neck. The jacket does not have any zipper, instead,
it has some buttons. And as far as where I could have possibly left my jacket, I was
sitting on the third row, from behind, on the first floor.
Please try to find my jacket, and mail it to me in a courier mail service at your
earliest convenience. I have given my address with this letter. I would be much
obliged.

You want to book a hotel that one of your friends recommended to you for a family

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to you because your hotel was recommended to me for the

ago. I am hoping to get some information so that I can book our stay there.
My friend, who has recommended the hotel to me, told me a lot of good things
about your hotel, especially about the quality of service and price that are offered.
But, as far as I am concerned, I would prefer a large suite of at least two rooms that
can comfortably accommodate me, my husband, my mother and two of my
teenage children.
I am planning to visit during the weekend, and I also understand that the price is a
little higher during that time. However, while I am not too much concerned about
the price of the hotel, I would certainly appreciate it if you could tell me about the
services and amenities – such as Wi-Fi internet service and airport shuttle service -
that come with it. Besides, information regarding what kind of activities we can
enjoy there, as well as what kinds of interesting places are there to visit nearby -
would also be highly appreciated.

would like some information about their courses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Rubio Gonzalez, and I am writing this letter to explore the possibility of
studying the English language at a prestigious college like yours. Of course, before
that can actually happen, I would need some information so that I can make an
informed decision.
The first thing, which I would like to know, is, what kinds of courses your college
offers, as well as the duration of those courses, since I am particularly interested in
pursuing a degree in the “English as a second language” programme. By the way, I
want to pursue this particular course since I believe that I already have a strong
foundation in this international language. Besides, I believe that it will help me in
my future career.
I would also love to know about the cost structures for this course, as well as other
related expenses, to complete this course in due time. And information regarding
scholarships, grants and tuition subsidies for international students would also be
highly appreciated.
Finally, it is also important to note that should I choose to pursue the course, I
would prefer to use a single room occupancy at your college hostel.
Thank you in advance.

You have been living in a rented apartment for the last two years. Your rental
agreement will expire in two months, but you want to extend it for another two
years.
Write a letter to the agency. In your letter,
• introduce yourself
• say why you want to extend the contract
• mention what changes you would recommend in the contract

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Andy Fowler, and I live in an apartment in the south block of the
Stavrolia Apartment complex, operated by your agency. And the reason, for which,
I am writing this letter to you is that I want to renew the rental agreement for
another two years since my current lease agreement is about to expire in the next
couple of months.
I have been living in this apartment complex for the last two years, and my entire
family have enjoyed living here since the day we arrived here because it is a nice
neighbourhood. But, the main reason, for which, I want to renew my rental
agreement is that a major highway has recently been built, close to this apartment
complex, which cuts my commuting time to work to almost half.
By the way, I would also like to include a new term in the contract which should say
that I will not be using the laundry facility of this apartment complex since I have
got my own laundry machine now. So please deduct this service cost from my
monthly charges.
I would like to request that please renew my lease agreement for another two years
with the new term in it at your earliest convenience.

Therefore, I would like to request you to ask the chairman of my course to consider
my situation favourably and grant me leave for the stipulated period of time
mentioned above. I will be much obliged to your kindness.

You would like to rent a commercial space for a shop you want to start in a newly

Write a letter to the market authority. In your letter,
• inform what type of space you want to rent

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Khoi Vinh, and I am writing this letter to enquire about the possibility
of renting a commercial space in the very beautiful shopping mall of yours located
at the downtown main street that has just recently been built.
I am planning to open a shop for children’s toys in your shopping complex which
would require a large space, probably as large as 3,000 square feet, and that too
has to be at a prime spot of your shopping complex. And when I say “prime spot”,
I mean to suggest that the shop has to be located in such a position that it can be
very easily visible and accessible from all directions. By the way, I would need such
a large space because I am also planning to set up a little playground for children
in it.
So, I would like to know if you could provide me with some information about the
availability of such commercial space for me as per my requirements. I would also
appreciate it very much if you could possibly quote me a price to rent such a shop
at your shopping centre.

Dear Leo,
I hope you're doing great. I've recently joined a multinational company, and many
of my colleagues speak Spanish in the workplace. I studied basic Spanish in high
school and have always felt a fascination with this language. Moreover, I believe, I
would work more efficiently if I speak Spanish with my coworkers. So I thought it
was time to get in touch with you and get some help since you’re a fluent speaker
of Spanish.
I wonder if you could give me a few tips on how to speed up my Spanish learning?
Do you think I should get a self-study book, or watch some video tutorials from
YouTube? Sometimes I think about getting enrolled in a Spanish language course,
but I'm not sure if it'll suit me. I think you can guide me on this. I'll be looking
forward to your tips and advice.
If you’re going to be in the area in the next few days, we could get together, and I
could pick your brains about this subject. We haven't been to an authentic Chinese
restaurant for a while, and we could discuss it in detail over dinner someday.
I hope to see you soon. Take care and stay fine.
Yours truly,
Stephen

The office you work in does not have any cafeteria for staff. Write a letter to your
manager to request setting up a cafeteria for the staff.
In your letter, you should tell,
• what you heard about the inconvenience from the staff
• how you feel about it
• what suggestions you have about setting up a cafeteria

Dear Sir or Madam,

Hope I did not catch you at a busy time since I am sure that you have many other
important priorities at work to take care of. But, the issue, I want to raise here, is
also equally important for our office staff.
The reason for which I am writing this letter is that our office does not have any
cafeteria for its staff where they can go and sit to enjoy some snacks, drinks and
food. Now, this would not really be much of an issue if they did not have to walk
about 10-12 minutes to grab something for them when they need something to eat
or drink during their short breaks and thus collectively waste many important work
hours. Besides, going out like this just to get some snacks or get a cup of coffee is
rather inconvenient for us, especially, when the weather condition is not
favourable.
Therefore, I would like to request you to set up a staff cafeteria in the large empty
room at the corner of our office, which remains unused most of the time. That will
make sure that our staff have at least one less issue to worry about when trying to
be more productive and efficient at work.
I hope you will consider the issue and arrange to set up a cafeteria soon. Thank you
in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Jones

You have been working in a company for the last two years. Recently, your
computer in the office has started giving some problems and it is affecting your
work performance.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter,
• describe the problem
• explain how it is affecting your work
• write what you want him to do regarding it

Dear Mr Wayne,
I understand that you probably do not want to hear about another issue amid so
many other problems, but I just do not have any other option but to inform you of
the issue. The problem, I am talking about, is related to my desktop computer
which I have been working with for the last one year so.
In fact, my computer is giving me trouble on and off for more than a month as it
keeps freezing on me momentarily, forcing me to stop my work until it comes back
again. Sometimes, my computer becomes so hot that I become a little afraid to
even touch it after working on it for a bit longer period of time. Needless to say, it
is also running out of memory since many different pieces of software have been
installed in it over the years, which is actually making the machine run even slower.
Naturally, because of these reasons, the productivity at my work is getting affected
rather negatively. It takes me more time to finish a task that should not have taken
such a lengthy time. It demotivates me as well.
Therefore, I would really appreciate it if you take proper steps to arrange to have a
technician fix my computer at your earliest convenience.
Yours sincerely,
Rob Freeman

You want to apply to a private college seeking admission for a bachelor degree. You
are experiencing financial problems at the moment and can not get admitted to
the college without some help.
Write a letter to the Principal of the college explaining your situation and ask for
information on scholarships or other means of financial help available.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Jonathon Mitch, and I am writing this letter in order to receive some necessary
information regarding scholarships and tuition subsidies - aimed at helping
undergraduate students financially, which is offered by your college. I have recently
graduated from high school with a GPA of 3.85 on a scale of 4, and I want to apply
to get admitted to your college to continue my study for a Bachelor degree.
I need this information because my family is currently suffering from some
economic hardship. They will not be able to pay me for my educational expenses
since my father, the only income-earning member of my family, has got laid off
from his job very recently. Besides, as a low middle-income family, we do not have
any kind of savings which would help me meet all of my educational expenses at a
prestigious private college like yours without some sort of financial help. So I am
hoping for your kind consideration and help.
I would like to thank you for your time and consideration in advance.

You paid a refundable deposit when you rented an apartment a year ago. You left
the apartment last month in good condition but the landlord won't return your
deposit.
Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter,
• introduce yourself and say why you are writing
• ask for the return of your deposit
• inform the landlord of possible action if he/she does not agree to refund the
amount

Dear Mr Clive,
I hope you and your family are doing well. My name is Louis Fabian, and I rented
one of your apartments on Jenkins Avenue and lived there for a year before leaving
the place last month. Anyway, the reason, for which, I am writing this letter to you
is that even though I left the apartment in good condition, I did not receive my
money, as per the leasing agreement, which was paid to you as a refundable
deposit when I rented your apartment.
Of course, not receiving the refundable deposit from you is frustrating enough for
me, but even more frustrating is the fact that you did not care to specify any
possible reasons as to why I should not get my deposit back.
And since you failed to give me any reason whatsoever as to why I should not get
my deposit back, it is only fair that you refund my money to me without any delay.
But, if you are not willing to cooperate with me on this, I am afraid that I will have
to take legal action against you to decide the matter in court.
Yours sincerely,
Louis Fabian

• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have recently attended a business conference at your hotel 'Rosewood London',
and regrettably misplaced some important documents in the room I stayed in. I am
hoping that you would be kind enough to notify me once you have those
documents.
I stayed in your hotel from 24th to 25th October in room 524. And I attended a
conference at the Business Meeting Hall on 24th October. I departed the next day
and just after I reached Manchester, I noticed that I have left those documents
unattended in my hotel room, perhaps inside the drawer that was placed beside
my bed. All of those documents are placed inside a blue folder with my name ‘Mike
Buchanan’ written on top of it.
In particular, these documents are extremely important to me. They contain some
confidential financial information about my company, a presentation and some
notes that I took during the conference. Without those documents, I would be in
great trouble. I need to submit a few of these papers to my company before the
end of this month.
I would request you to ask your staff to conduct a thorough search in the room and
then hold this folder in your possession. Please give me a call at 0161-
508745124578 once you have it. I will arrange for someone to collect it for me or
perhaps fly to London to receive it personally.
Thank you in advance for your kind help.

to move into another room and need your hostel super's permission for that.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request you to change my current accommodation arrangement in
our college hostel, and let me move into another room which is favourable for
studies and pleasant to live in.
I am Erica Garcia, a science major student in your college, and I reside in the college
hostel in room F-412. I find it very challenging to live and study in this room. First
of all, the room is quite small to accommodate two students. Two beds and other
necessary furniture in this room leave no open space, and we hardly get space to
walk or move in this room. Because of that, we were hurt several times by the sharp
corners of the iron beds. The lack of proper ventilation facilities, and the scarcity of
natural sunlight and fresh air are two big issues with this room. We are bound to
use the electric light 24 hours a day. It is quite suffocating, and because of this, I
can not concentrate on my studies.
Therefore, I humbly request you to allow me any other room where at least a
proper ventilation facility is present. I am hoping that you would let me move into
another room, preferably a large one, before my semester final in October.
I am looking forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Erica Garcia

We will rejoice in our parents' 50th anniversary, a very special occasion for all of

we are planning a dinner party and would like to rent the venue for the evening.
You should be in charge of a buffet dinner for the guests, drinks, decoration and

remarkable.
Please inform me if the venue is available on that day and how much it would cost
to hire it. Also, specify the menu and drink items in the buffet and their prices
including GST. I would appreciate it if you can share your idea of decoration as well.

Dear Mr Billison,
I am Charles Pattison, a junior project coordinator at your organisation, writing to
seek your permission to attend a helpful business conference organised by
Business Flyer, a prominent human resource development company from the UK.
The conference, as advertised in the Daily Business Insider, will bring together like-

footprint. The newspaper mentioned that it would be a three-day-long discussion
and aim to develop the leadership skills of the participants so that they can bring
innovation and success to their digital marketing effort.
Right after I saw the advertisement, I called the coordinator and he advised me to
reserve a seat if I am interested. It will continue from 21st to 23rd August, from
8.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Our company has recently started taking digital marketing seriously, and I believe I
can contribute more to it if I gather insights from the conference. The discussion
topics are quite up-to-date, and I believe those are actionable content and
materials based on a sound curriculum.
I would request you to allow me to participate in the conference and oblige
thereby.

I reside in flat 4B2 on the eighth floor with my family for the last one and a half

apartment have been shattered. The electricity line is disrupting since then and the
continuous chill wind is freely flowing in my apartment. This has become
unbearable, especially for my mother-in-law and six years old daughter.

I am writing to seek your approval to take 10 days off work in order to complete
my term final and thesis paper for my MBA course. I am hoping that you would
allow me to take the time off work from 8th November 2019 to 17th November

I am pursuing my MBA degree from Edinburgh University and to complete it, I need
to submit my thesis paper by 15th November and take a few exams. I have 10 days
of paid annual leaves and I have saved those for my term final. Now I am hoping to
use those leaves and finish my MBA.
Despite my leave from the office, I will check my emails daily, respond to important
ones and be available for emergency phone calls. Besides, I have already talked to
James and he is ready to take a few important responsibilities of mine in the
meantime. Once I get back to the office, I would endeavour to come earlier than
usual and work on weekends, if needed, in order to catch up on anything I had
missed.
I realise my temporary absence could be an inconvenience to the office but in the
long run, our company will benefit from my knowledge and thesis activity which
involves an empirical investigation into the impact of leadership on organisational
performance. Since our company is considering a few training sessions for the team
to enhance the leadership quality, my expertise could be useful.
I am looking forward to receiving your approval for the leave.

I have recently joined a large telecommunication company in Brisbane as a project

Why don't you visit us sometime during the summer vacation? We would be glad

Dear Dean,
How are you? I guess you have got busy with your new job and voluntary social
works that you are very active in. I wish I have been more active like you! I would
like to thank you for making our trip to Brazil so interesting.
Our trip to Brazil was amazing and the vibrant activities we had there are
unforgettable. I still remember our day at Pelourinho, the historic centre of
Salvador. I particularly relished the old town as it was filled with graceful
tranquillity, colourfully painted pastel buildings, and music in the streets. Can you
recall how we screamed with joy the time we saw a city we have only seen in
movies before? It was an astonishing experience.
Do you have the copy of the picture you took in which I was standing amind of a
crowd as if I was a local resident? The picture portrayed a different me in it and the
lighting worked like magic. I am unfortunate to find that I do not have a copy of this
picture. I must have placed it somewhere or lost it.
This photograph is special as it reminds me of a great trip we had together. I liked
this photo the most as it captured a smiling myself in a mysterious town at a strange
outset. I was so overwhelmed with the beauty of this town that I forgot to take
pictures. I would be grateful if you can send me that particular picture at your
convenience.
Take care and stay fine.

• explain which course you are interested in
• say what you know about the university
• explain why you should receive the scholarship
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have recently completed my graduation from the Singapore University of

writing to get the details about the scholarship program that your university offers
as I am really interested to complete my Master's degree from your university.
I would like to pursue my Master's degree at Loughborough University and I am
looking forward to getting a scholarship in the faculty of Engineering System and
Design. As I want to build a career in the Engineering sector, I would like to
complete my Master's degree in the same faculty that I did for my graduation.
I am convinced that doing the post-graduation at Loughborough University would
be an excellent decision for me as the university offers the opportunity to study a
subject at an advanced level, develop personal and professional skills, and it is one
of the best universities in the UK. The 440-acre single-site campus offers great
facilities for students, staff and gives every student the opportunity they need to
achieve their full potential. I would be very proud to be a part of this glorious
university.
I want to continue my Master's course in Engineering Systems and would be able
to do so only if I am granted a scholarship as I come from a middle-class family. My
Engineering Systems and Design graduation course had 138 credits in total and I
achieve a CGPA of 3.89 out of 4.0. I have part-time job experience in the
Engineering design field and I believe I can prove my competency for the
scholarship provided that I get an opportunity.
I look forward to your reply and would really appreciate your guidance regarding
this.

any option to adjust the timing or date? I guess that would be necessary for learners
who have full-time jobs. Besides, I will probably travel to Sydney, Australia during

can I get a refund in case I do not complete the whole course? What is the refund
policy? Finally, I would request you to email the document checklists to join the
course.
Thank you in advance. A prompt response would be highly appreciated.

I was notified that the gym would be closed for a week. I need my bag urgently and
I am hoping you will allow me to fetch my bag from the gym.
I have been a member of your gymnasium since 2018 and my membership number

In relation to the specifics of the bag, it is a brown colour office bag that has my
laptop, a few official documents, my credit card and a notebook in it. The bag has
three zippers and a flexible handle.
Now that I heard that your gym would be closed for at least a week for renovation
work, I am a bit worried. As a solution, and because I really need the bag, I am
hoping that you would permit me to collect it from the gym sometime tomorrow.
Thank you for giving the matter your attention and I hope to hear your reply soon.

some fish for our upcoming weekend fish barbecue. However, the day, we went
outside to catch our fish, was a little chilly, but certainly not enough to make me
sick. However, as time progressed, the weather was becoming colder, but we were
not exactly in a mood to care about that since we were enjoying our time in the
lake while catching one fish after another. But, the next day, I started to feel a
terrible fever and headache, because of spending too long in the cold. I am terribly
sorry that, due to this, I couldn’t finish the assignment as yet.
However, I will definitely be able to submit my assignment after three days from
now, since I would feel much better by then because of taking medicine. I am
hoping that you would allow me to submit my assignment three days later than the
initially proposed date. Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Li Xiu Ying

You are working for a company. You need to take some time off work and want to
ask your manager about this.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
• explain why you want to take time off work
• give details of the amount of time you need
• suggest how your work could be covered while you are away

Dear Mr Harry,
I am writing to you about the possibility of taking 12 days off work in order to
complete my thesis and final exams for my Master’s degree in Finance from the
University of Manchester. I am hoping that you would grant me leave from 17th
July to 28th July 2021.
I have almost finished my thesis, which I must submit to my teacher by July 24th. I
need some time to completely finish it and to prepare for the upcoming exams.
Hence I am asking for your permission to take time off work.
I can assure you that I would check my emails daily, perhaps reply to some of them
and be available for emergency phone calls from the office. Once I complete my
exams and get back to the office, I would endeavour to come into the office earlier
than usual and work Sundays in order to catch up on anything I had missed. I have
already talked to Ethan and he is ready to share some of the responsibilities during
my absence.
I realise my temporary absence could be an inconvenience to you and the rest of
the team, but I really need to take the leave to complete my Master’s degree
qualification.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and expecting your kind cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Susanne Dvorak

You have stayed at a friend’s house last weekend and forgot your watch there.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter,
• thank him/her for the hospitality
• describe your watch and say where you could have left it
• suggest a way how to get it back

Dear Harish,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I would like to take this opportunity to
express my gratitude for my stay at your home in Adelaide last weekend. I had a
pleasant time over there and I can not thank you enough for the genuine hospitality
you have offered me.
Adelaide is an interesting place for shopping and a diverse range of shopping malls
are located there. I bought a brand new Rolex wristwatch for my wife from Rundle
street shopping centre keeping her approaching birthday in mind. I was actually
tempted by the fascinating brown colour strap and square-shaped dial. The dial has
roman numbers too. I am very excited about it.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it in my luggage when I got back to Sydney. I
remember keeping it in your living room- probably in a drawer of the large table. I
want to gift it to my wife on her birthday next week and surprise her. However, this
can be possible only if you take the burden to send it to my address.
Actually, James Brown - one of my colleagues, is travelling to Sydney from your
place this weekend. I can request him to collect it from your house. He lives just a
couple of miles away from your apartment. I will pass your address and contact
number to him. I think you can hand it over to him without any trouble.
I hope to see you soon in Sydney.
Warm wishes,
Navaretta

Last year you attended a presentation skill course at the Sydney College of
Australia. Your new employer has asked you to provide copies of your reports and
assignments as quickly as possible.
Write a letter to the director of the school. In your letter,
• explain who you are and why you are writing
• request these documents
• ask whether you need to pay any fee for that

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Julia Scarlet from the United Kingdom. I am writing to you to requests copies
of my reports and assignment that I submitted to the course coordinator to
complete a presentation skill course I undertook at the Sydney College of Australia.
I am hoping you would arrange to send me those copies as I need them urgently.
I completed the course on 18th March 2019 under the supervision of Mr Alfred and
had my copy of reports, certificate and assignment. I submitted those to my
previous employer 'LVL Group' and recently took a job with another company. The
new company has asked me to forward these papers and this is why I need these
documents urgently.
I had email correspondences with Mr Alfred, my course coordinator, and he
suggested that I should contact you for those papers. I would request you to
forward these documents to my address as soon as possible. Kindly inform me if
there is any charge for the second copy of these documents. If there is any, I would
be ready to pay for that.
I would really appreciate your cooperation and kind response.
Yours faithfully,
Julia Scarlet

You use trains to reach the office but the timetable of the train has been changed
recently. Also, the train you take to work no longer stops at your station. Write a
letter to the railway authority about it.
In your letter,
• introduce yourself
• what problems have been created due to the changes
• what you would suggest them to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to draw your kind attention that, the train schedule in my area has
recently been changed and due to this, many office goers like me are suffering. I
am hoping you would keep the previous timetable and introduce more frequent
trains for the convenience of the residents.
I am a banker and I work as an assistant manager at the City Bank. I regularly
commute to my office using your train. Sadly, the train I used to take to reach office
no longer stops at our station and as a result, we need to travel a few extra miles
to reach the City Centre Station which is overcrowded in the morning hours. I am
often late to reach my office and have objections about the revised train timetable.
With the introduction of the new train schedule, daily commuting for employees
like me has become utterly difficult which ultimately makes your service unreliable.
Unfortunately, because of this problem, many commuters are late for their work
which is affecting their productivity. Consequently, they are very upset about your
service.
As a solution to this problem, I would recommend you to revert to the previous
schedule and arrange more trains during the peak hours. If it is not possible, then
at least add more carriages to increase the space. It will be a great relief if you can
resolve this problem as soon as possible.
Thank you for giving the matter your attention and I hope to hear your reply soon.
Yours faithfully,
Campbell Scott

You are not happy with the course you are doing at college and would like to change
to a different course.
Write a letter to the Head of Department to change your course. In your letter,
explain:
• what course you are doing now
• why you are not satisfied with that course
• what course you would like to change to

Dear Mr Cameron,

I am a first-year student at your college and my major is arts. I am writing to seek

your permission to change one of my courses. I am hoping that you would allow
me to do so.
My student identification number is 254102. During my admission back in January,
I took the music course and it has been a month since then. So far I am not happy
with my progress and I am confident that I would do better if I take the history
curriculum, which I have always felt passionate about. I would not say that I feel
negative about my music classes, but I believe I should go with the course I feel
more attached to.
When I got admitted to the college, no seat in the history department was available
and the music was my second preference. Recently, I talked to the dean of the
history department, and he notified me that with your permission, I would be able
to intake the history subject.
I would request you to permit me to intake a history course and drop the music
class. I would be always grateful to you for granting me to switch my course.
Yours sincerely,
Caterina Holmes

You have received an important document that needs to be translated. Write a
letter to your friend and ask him/her to translate this important document for you.
In your letter, explain -
• why it is important for you
• how fast you need it back
• why you need his/her expertise

Dear Lee,
Hope you and your parents are doing excellent. I am sorry that I have not been in
touch with you for the last couple of weeks. Even if I have not written to you for a
while, you are always in my thoughts and prayer. I am writing to you today because
I need your expertise to translate some important documents for me.
You would be glad to know that my application has been accepted by the Wuhan
University in China and if things go as planned, I will join the university next summer
for my Master's degree. They have sent me some documents which are in the
Chinese language and I need your help with that. You are the best person to assist
me and this is really crucial for me to get admitted to this University. Without the
proper translation of the documents, I will not be able to respond precisely to them.
I am sending xerox copies of these documents, three documents with 7 pages in
total, and would really appreciate it if you can send them before 10th December. I
could use Google Translate to interpret the texts but you know there are always
glitches in this technology as some meanings are lost in translation! Your excellent
skills in English and Chinese makes you the most suitable person to translate those
documents for me. I owe you a big one.
Take care and write me back whenever possible.
Warm wishes,
Kyle

You and your family are planning to spend a weekend at a seaside hotel.
Write a letter to the hotel for making the arrangement. In your letter say,
• when you will be arriving and leaving
• what type of rooms you would like and ask how much the weekend will cost
• inquire about activities and places of interest near the hotel

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to make the necessary arrangements for our stay at your hotel
on 22nd and 23rd November. I will travel with my parents, wife and 7 years old son.
I am hoping that you would be able to provide us with suitable accommodation and
assist us to enjoy our trip.
We will arrive on 22nd November and check out from your hotel on 24th November
before 12.00 pm. We are expecting two double size bedrooms with attached
bathrooms, hot water and air cooler facilities. We would prefer rooms with a sea
view and room service. I would really appreciate it if the rooms are on the same
floor.
I am also interested to know about recreational activities in the vicinity. Despite my
parent’s age, they are very lively and would love to go to the theatre, beach and
amusement parks, if available. I would also like to know about the market, where
we can buy traditional items and souvenirs.
Please notify me of the cost that will incur on our trip at your earliest with the
facilities you can offer. I am expecting a comprehensive reply from your side about
the details of the activities and other information I requested.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

You are going on a short training course at a college in Greenmount, Northern
Ireland. You need somewhere to live while you are there.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter:
• explain your situation
• describe the accommodation you require
• say when you will need it

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inquire about the accommodation facilities available for the course
seekers at your college. I am Alex Jones, an applicant for the forthcoming training
course on "Time Management in Professional Environment to Boost Performance",
at your college. I am hoping that you would kindly arrange suitable accommodation
for me.
I am currently employed in Southern Ireland, as a Chartered Accountant in a
multinational accounting firm. As you already know, the course I am interested in
would commence at the beginning of July at Greenmount, Northern Ireland, a
location far away from the city where I live.
I would like to take the privilege of describing my accommodation needs. First of
all, I am expecting a small flat or at least a room for me. Secondly, I would like to
dwell in a calm and quiet environment, as the tranquillity of the workplace is
important to me. Lastly, I would be glad to stay close to the course venue, so as to
save time.
I plan to arrive on 27th of this month and hence would request you to finalise my
flat or room before I arrive. I will stay at this place as long as I have my training
course, possibly till September.
Yours faithfully,
James Smith

On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel
insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.

Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:

• describe the item you lost
• explain how you lost it
• tell the insurance company what you would like them to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I have recently lost a mobile phone during
my holiday in Pondicherry and this item is insured. It was an Apple iPhone 12 which
cost me approximately 95,000 rupees. Since I have insurance coverage for my
mobile phone from your company, I am hoping to get my insurance money.
The incident occurred when I was on a holiday trip to Pondicherry between 26 May
2021 to 29 May 2021. I was on Paradise beach on 28 August when I lost my mobile
phone in the sand. I vigorously searched for the item for more than an hour but it
was nowhere. I immediately lodged an FIR in the nearest police station and the FIR
registration number is CH-25470145.
Since I hold insurance coverage for the mobile phone, I would like to claim the
insurance amount for the lost phone. As per the policies of the insurance, I am
liable to claim an amount of 85,000 as an insurance refund for the lost item. Please
find the invoice and the FIR copy for the lost mobile phone with this letter.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Aakash Saurabh

You are applying for a job and need a letter of reference from someone who knew
you when you were at college.
Write a letter to one of your old teachers asking for a reference. In your letter:
• say what job you have applied for
• explain why you want this job
• suggest what information the teacher should include

Dear Mr Hampson,
I am Muller Fortner, one of your research assistants and lucky students, whom you
have bestowed your blessing, wisdom and guidance during my academic years at
MIU University. Today, I am writing to ask a favour from you- to write a reference
letter for me that I would require to submit to a prospective employer.
I have been one of your most ardent students and we have finished several projects
together including the "Impact of Western attitude to developing countries" which
was published in "The Social Affair" magazine. After I have completed my post-
graduation in Social Science from MIU University in December 2020, I have been
trying to start a job and recently I have been invited to an interview as a researcher
at Social Hub, an international company that works for social welfare in many
countries.
I applied for the job because it would enable me to closely work with other talented
researchers and let me contribute to great social causes. I hope you would be happy
if I get the job and continue doing the things you always wanted me to do.
I hope you would be kind enough to write a reference letter for me mentioning
how you know me, my strength, academic performance and how I might be
suitable for a research-based job.
Thank you in advance. I look forward to getting your reply soon.
Respectfully yours,
Muller Fortner

You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a
new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.
Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter,
» explain why you are writing
» express concern about the missing card
» ask them what they intend to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you that I have recently received a letter from your bank,
and an envelop which was supposed to contain my new bank card. Unfortunately,
no card was enclosed in the envelope when I opened it. I am hoping that you would
issue me another card and hold the delivered one to stop any misuse.
I have been maintaining a savings bank account with your Deportaire branch since
2018 and my account number is SA25874210. Immediately after the occurrence, I
telephoned the bank to explain the problem, but I could not get through to the
right department, even though I waited in line for over half an hour, which was
extremely annoying.
In the letter, you asked me to acknowledge the receipt of the card, but obviously, I
cannot do this as I have not received it. I am now worried because the lost card
might cause trouble. What if the card is misused? Will the bank be responsible for
that?
You should cancel or hold this card so no one else can use it. Please also send me a
new card by secure means.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Beck Turner

Last week you were on a flight to London. Unfortunately, when you left the plane,
you left a bag. You did not remember about the bag until you got to your hotel.
Write a letter to the airline. In your letter,
• explain what has happened
• describe the bag and its content
• and say what you would like them to do about it.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing in regards to a lost bag on a plane that I took to reach London from
New York on 17th August. Unfortunately, I forgot my bag on the plane. When I
reached the hotel, I realised I had left my bag. I am hoping you would help me
recover it along with its content immediately.
My flight number was VG-4587F and my seat number was D-54A. Onboard, I kept
the bag under my seat as all the overhead bins were filled with bags and luggage.
When I left the airport in London, I forget to take my bag with me. It is a black
leather bag, medium in size and has two pockets in the front and one in the back.
Also, it has a silver zip and keychain on it.
My bag contains some important documents, a few dresses of mine and a small
brown purse which had my ID card, driving licence, and some cash. The documents
in the bag are really significant and I need to submit them to my office next week.
So if you could help me find the bag, I would be really grateful.
I can come and collect it from the airport promptly. Thank you for your kind
attention and cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
Sonia Vincent
