Preliminary Activity
4.1 Introductory Activity Prayer
Asking students what they have learned on previous meeting.
Review previous lesson which is all about formulating research questions.
Teacher asks the following:
1) What will you do after formulating research questions?
2) What is a statement of the problem?
4.2. Activity
Present to the students the outline or guideline in making a research.
Explain to the students on what are the guidelines in writing statement of the problem.
Explain to the students on the usefulness of writing statement of the problem as part of the
research study?
The teacher asks:

1. How are you going to present your statement of the problem?
2. What is the importance of having presented a statement of the problem?
The teacher discuss the Meaning of Statement of the Problem
> It states clearly the purpose or interest of the study.
> It poses specific questions about the research problem.
Presents to the students the actual quantitative studies done that showcase all the parts of the
statement of the problem
