INDEFINITE QUANTIFIERS – TỪ CHỈ SỐ LƯỢNG BẤT ĐỊNH

- Vị trí: Trước danh từ

- Chúng ta sử dụng a little / not much, some, a lot of / lots of để chỉ về số lượng.

 Some (một vài), a lot of / lots of (nhiều) - được sử dụng với danh từ không đếm được và đếm được (số nhiều)

Ex: He drinks lots of orange juice every week – Anh ấy uống rất nhiều nước cam mỗi tuần

I have some books – Tôi có một vài quyển sách

 A little, not much (một ít) - CHỈ sử dụng với danh từ không đếm được

Ex: We only have a little rice left. – Chúng ta chỉ còn 1 ít gạo thôi

 (not) any: không có gì - được sử dụng với danh từ không đếm được và đếm được (số nhiều)

Chúng ta sử dụng don’t / doesn’t + V + any … để nói về những việc chúng ta không làm

Ex: She doesn’t do any exercises – Cô ấy không tập thể dục
