THÌ HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN – THE PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

Thì HTĐ để nói về những điều là chân lý, sự thật hiển nhiên
cho một khoảng thời gian dài. Thói quen ở hiện tại. Nói về
một lịch trình có sẵn, chương trình, thời gian biểu cố định.

Câu khẳng định: S + V_inf/ V(s/es) + O

Câu phủ định: S + do/does + not + V_inf + O
Câu hỏi: Do/does + S + V_inf + O?

I,You, We, They, phural nouns (danh từ số nhiều) =>V_inf

4. Động từ tận cùng là “y” nhưng trước “y” là phụ âm thì

đổi “y” sang “ i ” rồi thêm “es”

5. Động từ tận cùng là “y” nhưng trước “y” là 1 nguyên

âm (U , E , O , A , I) , giữ “y” thêm “s”

Cách phát âm phụ âm cuối s/es:
Chú ý các phát âm phụ âm cuối này phải dựa vào phiên âm
quốc tế chứ không dựa vào cách viết.
– /s/:Khi từ có tận cùng là các phụ âm /f/, /t/, /k/, /p/ , /ð/
– /iz/:Khi từ có tận cùng là các âm /s/, /z/, /∫/, /t∫/, /ʒ/, /dʒ/
(thường có tận cùng là các chữ cái ce, x, z, sh, ch, s, ge)
– /z/:Khi từ có tận cùng là các âm còn lại

Từ “and” nghĩa là “và” để nối hai hoặc nhiều danh từ trong
một câu khẳng định.
Từ “or” nghĩa là “hoặc” để nối hai hoặc nhiều danh từ trong
một câu phủ định.

Đại từ sở hữu là gì?
- Đại từ sở hữu dùng để chỉ sự sở hữu và thay thế cho một
danh từ, cụm danh từ đã được nhắc đến trước đó.
Cách dùng các đại từ sở hữu
a. Dùng thay cho một tính từ sở hữu (possessive adjective) và
một danh từ đã nói phía trước.
b. Dùng trong dạng câu sở hữu kép (double possessive).

c. Dùng ở cuối các lá thư như một quy ước. Trường hợp này
người ta chỉ dùng ngôi thứ hai.

Quy tắc thêm đuôi V-ing
- Động từ tận cùng bằng e --> bỏ đuôi e thêm ing
make – making; take – taking; ride – riding
Trừ: see – seeing; agree – agreeing
- Động từ tận cùng bằng “ie”, đổi “ie” thành y và thêm -ing
lie – lying; die – dying
- Nhân đôi phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm -ing
swim – swimming; win – winning; cut – cutting
- Từ tận cùng là w, x hoặc y thì không gấp đôi phụ âm mà
chỉ cần thêm -ing thôi.

THE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE – THÌ HIỆN
TẠI TIẾP DIỄN
1. Cách dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
- Diễn tả hành động, sự việc xảy ra ngay tại thời điểm nói.
- Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra và kéo dài một thời gian
ở hiện tại.
- Diễn tả một tình huống tạm thời
- Diễn tả những tình huống đang tiến triển, đang thay đổi (dù
kéo dài).
- Diễn tả những sự việc xảy ra trong khoảng thời gian gần lúc
nói (ví dụ như: hôm nay, tuần này, tối nay...).
- Diễn tả những việc đã sắp xếp để thực hiện, có dự định trước
(thường mang tính cá nhân) và trong câu có phó từ chỉ thời
gian đi kèm.
- Hiện tại tiếp diễn với những động từ chỉ sự hy vọng, mong
đợi (dùng thay cho thì hiện tại đơn trong thư tín, lời mời)
- Chúng ta có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn để khắc phục
các lỗi trong tương lai. Thường dùng với các từ thời gian chỉ
tương lai như this weekend, on saturday, tomorrow, tonight…

Note - Một số chú ý về Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn

1) Cách thêm "ING" sau động từ:
a) Động từ tận cùng bằng "e" (e câm) thì bỏ e trước khi
thêm "ing"
Ex: live - living
come - coming
Riêng tobe - being

b) Động từ 1 âm tiết (hoặc 2 âm tiết trở lên mà có âm nhấn
ở cuối) tận cùng bằng 1 phụ âm, có 1 nguyên âm đi trước
thì ta nhân đôi phụ âm tận cùng trước khi thêm "ing"
Ex: run - running
begin - beginning
Nhưng: meet - meeting (không gấp đôi t vì có 2 Nguyên âm "
e" đi trước)
c) Động từ tận cùng bằng "ie" thì đổi thành "y" rồi thêm
"ing"
Ex: lie - lying
die - dying
d) Động từ tận cùng bằng "L" mà trước nó là 1 nguyên
âm đơn thì ta cũng nhân đôi "L" rồi thêm "ing"
Ex: travel - travelling
gravel - gravelling
2) Thường dùng với các từ/cụm từ chỉ thời gian như:
