Activity: Spelling Bee
Materials: PowerPoint Presentation
Group students into three.
 Ask students to spell out words that come from
the story they are about to read.
 After spelling the word ask learners the meaning of

 Ask learners to repeatedly read the words for them

 Give the meaning of each word and let the learners

happens when they lie.

to ensure learners’ understanding of the text.

Materials: Journals, writing tools, bond paper.
1. Have you lied to someone?
2. What happened after telling a lie?
 Explain the task: Write a promise letter to your
loved ones that you will not tell a lie.
 Allow time to write, or record thoughts.
 Sharing Option: Offer learners the chance to share
reflections.
 Conclude by emphasizing the critical role of
understanding and practicing caution on not to
lie.
