THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction
In this time, the fashion of gadgets among our students, not only with our
students but also with others like our elderly. In addition to this, many students like ours
are interested in using gadgets, in collaboration communication, expressing attitudes,
sharing things done and above all using students like me in studying, we use it to
facilitate our works, projects, and more. In the Philippines there are many schools that
agree with the use of gadgets by students. But the school knows that the use of gadgets
may also have bad effects on students, for example only because of the laziness of
students, the use of gadgets in online games, and what's even worse is using it for
pornography. That's why many schools in the Philippines will limit the use of gadgets to
students. Not only in our country, the use of gadgets in the study of students is up-to-
date also in the whole world, researchers believe that gadgets have a great role to
increase the level of study of each student.

According to Merriam Dictionary, an often small mechanical or electronic

device with a practical use but often thought of as a novelty. Gadget is a lovely design
with a variety of looks and functions; it is a terrific aid for everyone, especially students,
in advancing their work and producing better results.

According to Kenneth Ron and Bantillo et.al. 2020, Learners are aware on
effects, yet responsive and educated about ill effects of gadgets. Educational use of
gadgets develops a foundation of good/strong/progressive and effective citizens in the
future. Electronic gadgets are beneficial in the schools.

For us students, Gadget is a small piece of technology, something that is easy

to use and fun technology, and can be considered expensive when the gadget has
many uses. It can be said that gadgets are more helpful to students in their studies. It is
the duty of young people to study. When the youth are tired of their studies, reviewing
some examples of their performance, they can now choose from the many modern
devices available today. In another definition used by economics, technology is seen as
the current state of our knowledge of how to combine capabilities to produce a desired
product (and whatever our knowledge can produce). Thus, we see technology change
as our knowledge of it increases. One of them is the gadgets.As they sprout. It can be
said that it helps people like students and eventually it can be said that it is harmful.

According to Bertillo (2011) in the history of education technology has

contributed a lot. In fact this is one of the main ways that learning becomes easy and
effective which is why so many students turn to technology for their learning.

It is the duty of young people to study. When young people get tired of their
studies, there are two things they can do. First is to rest so that they are strong enough
to continue their studies instead of using gadgets in a nonsense things.
