To whom it may concern:

This correspondence is in regard to Brianna Salzetti, a University of Arizona Bachelor of Science nursing
student graduating with honors in May 2024. I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for
Brianna, an exceptional applicant for a New Graduate Registered Nurse position. I had the pleasure to
work with Brianna (Bri) during the spring 2023 semester as she was a clinical and didactic student in
NURS 366 “Acute and Chronic Illness Management 1”. I have been impressed with Bri’s leadership
skills, clinical skills, and motivation to succeed at the next level.

Ms. Salzetti demonstrated professionalism, competency, accountability, and leadership during the
pediatric clinical rotation at Tucson Medical Center. Bri was motivated and eager to learn from all
disciplines. Bri was assertive, not afraid to ask questions, and receptive to faculty feedback. Ms. Salzetti
assisted with care for high acuity infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Emergency
department as well as with infants and children in the Pediatric medical -surgical unit. Bri developed
immediate relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers while providing
wholistic and evidence-based care to patients in the pediatric units. Ms. Salzetti was assertive as she was
able to observe a 13-year-old urological surgery; provide continuity of care during the initial post-
operative period as well as the next day. Ms. Salzetti required minimal assistance from faculty as Bri’s
ability to prioritize and critically think developed immensely during the 188-hour preceptorship on the
Neurology/Telemetry unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona.

In addition to strong clinical skills Ms. Salzetti demonstrated a distinguished level of service and
leadership to others. As an active member of the College of Nursing Peer Mentoring Program, Bri shared
organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills to other nursing students aiding in their
future success. Furthermore, Bri has proven that she can multi-task. Bri assisted with community service
hours with the American Red Cross, installing free smoke alarms as well as provided fire safety education
while succeeding academically in the highly competitive, rigorous nursing program at the University of
Arizona.

The University of Arizona, College of Nursing has prepared Brianna with a strong work ethic to succeed
in a challenging environment and learn at the next level. Brianna’s dedication to studying is to be
commended as Ms. Salzetti is graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Brianna indicates a strong passion to serve
others and is ready for the challenge to provide culturally competent care. Brianna is determined to make
a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and grow as a healthcare professional committed to making a
difference. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Brianna Salzetti for the New Graduate Registered
Nurse position. Please feel free to contact me for additional information if needed.

Sincerely Yours,

Beverly Bias, MS, RNC-NIC, NTMNC
