October 18, 2022,
To whom it may concern:

This correspondence is in regard to Bobbi Jackson, a University of Arizona Bachelor of Science nursing
student graduating December 2022. I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for Bobbi, a
competitive applicant for a New Graduate Registered Nurse position graduating with honors. I had the
pleasure to work with Bobbi during the fall 2021 semester as she was a clinical and didactic student in
NURS 366 “Acute and Chronic Illness Management 1”. I have been impressed with Bobbi’s clinical,
leadership skills, and motivation to succeed at the next level.

Ms. Jackson demonstrated professionalism, competency, accountability, and leadership during the
pediatric clinical rotation at Tucson Medical Center. Bobbi was highly motivated to learn as much as
possible from all disciplines. Bobbi was assertive and not afraid to ask questions while assisting with care
for high acuity infants and children in the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Medical-Surgical unit. Bobbi
expressed a desire to be challenged as she was always up to the task assigned. Bobbi developed an
immediate relationship with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers while providing
wholistic care to patients in the pediatric units. Ms. Jackson required minimal assistance from faculty as
Bobbi’s ability to prioritize care strengthened during the 180- hour preceptorship at Banner University
Medical Center South: Emergency Department.

In addition to strong clinical skills Ms. Jackson demonstrated a distinguished level of service and
leadership to others as an active member for Student Nurses at the University of Arizona (SNUA) club.
Bobbi held the positions of Treasurer and Fundraising Chair during fall 2022. Bobbi has developed
exceptional interpersonal communication skills as well as participated in multiple philanthropic events.
Ms. Jackson has proven that she can multi-task as she has worked as a Pharmacy Technician Trainer and
a Student Nurse Intern while succeeding academically in the highly competitive rigorous nursing program
at the University of Arizona. Bobbi’s passion for emergency room nursing was evident as she completed
an honors thesis: Extensive Research on Emergency Room Overcrowding.

The University of Arizona, College of Nursing has prepared Bobbi with a strong work ethic to succeed in
a fast-paced environment and learn at the next level. Bobbi indicates a strong passion to serve others and
is ready for the challenge. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Bobbi Jackson for the New Graduate
Registered Nurse position. Please feel free to contact me for additional information if needed.

Sincerely Yours,

Beverly Bias, MS, RNC-NIC, NTMNC
