ZUMBA Dance Contest (Teachers’ Edition)

Guidelines and Mechanics
1. All team members must join and participate on the dance.
2. Minimum of five (5) minutes and Maximum of ten (10) minutes. Entrance and exit are included.
Music will not be cut but deductions will be made.
3. Props and accessories are allowed but not flammable or flaming materials.
4. Choreographers are not allowed inside the school during practices and to teach/coach on the
performance day.
5. Failure to follow the said rules will deduct 1 point/violation on the Final Score.
6. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

Criteria for Judging include:

 Synchronization - 25%
 Timing/Coordination - 35%
 Projection/Passion -10%
 Stamina/Power/Energy - 30%
 TOTAL - 100%
