Remote Learning Schedule for Students Update3


Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday

9.00 – 9.30 Morning Check-in and Roll Call using WebEx
9.30 – 11.30 Learning Activities as directed by classroom teacher
11.00 – 11.30 Morning Tea
11.30 – 1.30 Learning Activities as directed by classroom teacher
1.30 – 2.10 Lunch
2.10 – 3.10 Learning Activities as directed by classroom teacher

Explanatory notes

o The time allocations above are a guide. There is no expectation that students are working for the entire time
allocated to learning activities. As a guide the students should be spending between 45 and 60 minutes on literacy
and numeracy each day and 30 minutes on another curriculum area.
o Throughout the day the students/parents can pose questions or contact the teacher via dojo or google classroom.
Teachers will respond to these requests as soon as possible during school hours
 8.45 – 3.45

Please note that teachers will not be contactable prior to 8.45am or after 3.45pm each day. Any requests sent
between these times will be followed up at the next point in time that staff are on duty and available.

Explanatory notes

o The focus of the Wednesday is to provide greater flexibility and choice for students as a strategy to balance academic
expectations with the need for positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
o No new classroom teaching will be delivered on a Wednesday.
 A morning WebEx will still need to take place for the purpose of roll marking.
 Teachers may request students to join a reading group or reading conference on WebEx.
o Students will use the Wednesday to choose between
 Specialist learning activities
 SWPBS matrix activities
 Catching up on work from previous days not completed
o Throughout the day the students/parents can pose questions or contact the teacher via dojo or google classroom.
Teachers will respond to these requests as soon as possible during school hours
 8.45 – 3.45
