I’, Maria Lilienne R. Maquito, 16 years old, a Grade 11 student of Oas Polytechnic
School under Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) strand. I’m honor to
apply at Bicol University as my chosen school. After doing simultaneous research in
different colleges, Bicol university is my final choice. This university was me choice
because it is one of the well-known state university in the Philippines, has a high
reputation in promoting the high quality of education, and it is an outstanding school
based from my reviews in the graduates. Additionally, it is the home of board exam
passers in different fields.

My aims is to take Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) as one of the program

being offered of Bicol University. I know that this university was known for providing
best education to fulfill the student’s learning and help them in honing their skills as
they study in their chosen field. It will help me to boost myself in learning accounting
and the road in taking apply the skills that I have learned and being fulfilled as I study
in Bicol University.

I am sure that this is the correct career path as I grew up in a family where my father
is a seafearer and my mother is a housewife. Because of their guidance, I feel I’m
more diligent in myself as I see myself the path that they want for me and I want to
prove that I didn’t waste their sacrifices just to make my life better and more
passionate in achieving my goals in life.

Pursuing my dream to become an accountant is a desire that I would grab and I

would like to start it by taking Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bicol
University. I have attached my application as well as transcripts, an essay, and all of
my letter of recommendation as defined in my admissions packet. I appreciate your

Good day!

I’m Maria Lilienne R. Maquito, 16 years old, and a grade 11 student of Oas
Polytechnic School, Oas, Albay taking Accountancy, Business and Management
(ABM). I was born on October 16, 2006. My parents are Wilbur P. Maquito, an OFW,
and Memvie Maquito, a housewife. I am the eldest in the 4 siblings and I have
responsibility in taking care of my brothers.

I finished elementary at San Juan Elementary School that belongs to the Honor
Students bagging several awards. I am also part of the publication in our school
during elementary. I joined GSP and different camping. During my junior high school,
I continue to become active in class that results in belonging to honor list every
quarter. Since then I’m a consistent honor student from grade 1 – grade 10. I
finished my junior high school as class salutation and given an opportunity to deliver
my speech for the first time in stage. Now, I’m a grade 11 student under ABM and
continue to study to grab the goals that I want to achieved in my life. My hobbies are
writing, reading, playing badminton, listening to music, photography and doing arts.

I’m intent to apply at Bicol University as my chosen school because it is a well-known

state university in the Philippines and promote good quality of education for students.
My aim is to take Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) as one of the program
being offered of Bicol University. Accountancy was my dream course and choosing
Bicol university as my Alma Mater will help me to become competent, focus on my
goals, and to study hard just to finish and achieve my dreams. Bicol university will be
my road in achieving my goals in life. Pursuing my dream will help me grow as a
person and I know that Bicol University will be the road ahead of my dreams. I hope

being offered to SHS student.

My friend tell me about this scholarship that your being offered to us. I would like to
apply the scholarship that your being offered to SHS students especially for ABM
students. This scholarship will help me as the academic expenses are increasing
and I am in great need. I am struggling not just academically but financially. A am
pursuing my academic dreams by my daily expenses as a student. A scholarship will
be a mammoth help. I would like to like to know about this scholarship so that I can
be able to apply for it.
