Spring 2024 Assessment Project 3
Student Involvement houses eight student leadership opportunities specifically tied to our
office. The eight opportunities are the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the Multicultural
Greek Council, the Panhellenic Association, the Interfraternity Council, ElonTHON, The
Student Government Association, the Student Involvement Ambassadors, and the Student
Union Board; all being advised and supported by Student Involvement staff.
This assessment project investigates the effectiveness of participation in Student
Involvement programs for student leaders in terms of making sense of their identity
development as a leader and articulating employability skills gained as a result, the
effectiveness of participation in Student Involvement programs for student leaders in

While the student leadership roles vary vastly in event planning
responsibilities and scope of work, key themes emerged in flexibility
the interviews. All the student leaders could articulate grace
employability skills and identify traits of strong leadership. humility

level of support from Student Involvement, speaking to problem-solving
how the professional staff aided in their development as professionalism
