 PROGRAM GUIDE

I. PRE-LEADERSHIP CAMP PREPARATION

1. To ensure participation, the participant of each District is the seven (7)

Supreme Elementary Learner Government Officers (President to Protocol Officer}
and their respective teacher-advisers. In case, where the SELG Officer can't
participate, the district SELG Teacher-Adviser President may opt to replace the
participant from any of the learners from their District.

2. The District SELG Teacher-Adviser President shall submit the following

requirements:
a. Signed Pre-Registration Form by the Public Schools District Supervisor
b. Signed Parental Consent Form

3. The Teacher-Adviser District President shall serve as the focal person of their
respective district delegation. They shall provide assistance to learner participants
in the completion and submission of the requirements.

4. Pre-registration form shall be accomplished on or before March 11, 2024 using

6. Districts, through their District Teacher-Adviser President shall notify the

secretariat of their travel details prior to the arrival at the venue. This will serve as
the basis for establishing mechanisms for easier logistics to their billeting areas.

7. Any changes to the delegation's participation, travel, or other aspects must be

well-coordinated and communicated to the Secretariat before the event. Necessary
adjustmcmts will be made as deemed necessary.

II. LEADERSHIP CAMP PROPER

A. Arrival of Participants
1. All participants are expected to be at the venue on March 22, 2024.
2. Each District, through the Teacher~Advisers, shall keep the contact
details of the transportation providers they coordinated.
3. All participants must present their accomplished forms and
identification card to the Registration Committee upon arrival for attendance,
verification and room assignments.

B. Registration Fee

There is a registration fee of one thousand one hundred seventy-five

pesos only (Pl,175.00) to augment for food and training materials that will be
used for the three (3) day event. Attendance to this activity is voluntary.

M. Learners' Rights and Protection

a. The Department of Education (DepEd) and through the

Learner Rights and Protection Office (LRPO), ensures that all
activities and venues are conducive and that the best interest of the
learner participants shall be the paramount consideration in all
decisions and actions involving them. To provid€ sp€cial protection to
learner- participants who are gravely threatened or endangered by
circumstance s, the DepEd Child Protection Policy (DepEd Order 40,
s. 2012) shall be fully adopted before, during, and after the
convergence. Yet, the participatory rights of the learners in the
implementati on of this policy and in all proceedings affecting them,
whether they be victims or aggressors, either directly, or through a
representativ e, is greatly recognized.

b. The 2024 SELG Leadership Camp shall be in accordance

with the safeguarding guidelines in order to minimize risk, guar~ntee
safe space, and ensure positive experience for all delegates, orgaruzers,
and others who are involved in the event. F:1rther, thr~ugh the
safeguarding guidelf_n~s, appr<?p1at~ preve~bve, protective, and
remediai measures will be properly implemented.
