This study was to clarify the complex relationship between students' academic

achievement at Arellano University Bonifacio Campus and their engagement in


regular physical activity. Physical activity has long been acknowledged as a key
component of overall health, but its specifically affect on academic performance in
such an environment has not been well studied. In particular, some studies reveal a
favorable correlation between academic performance and physical activity, while
others note differences or highlight elements that may interfere with research
findings and require further studies. Some educators and students claim that
engaging in regular physical activity enhances kids' focus, drive, cognitive skills, and
even increases their chances of academic achievement. However, there isn't much
data to back up these assertions for example, in the situations of these particular
cases involving the Arellano University Bonifacio Campus. the present study aims to
fill these research gaps by examining whether regular physical activity is related to a
certain academic performance of students in Arellano University Bonifacio Campus.
Furthermore, this research seeks to find out if there are any mediators or moderators
like diet and sleep patterns, socio-economic background involved in the association.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The aim of this study is to look into any possible relationships between the academic
performance of students and regular physical activity at Arellano University Bonifacio
Campus. The research is guided by the following primary questions:

1. How much does physical activity intensity and frequency affect academic
performance?
2. Does the academic performance of students who participate in regular
physical activity change significantly from the performance of students who do
not participate?
3. How does the effects of physical activity on performance in school combine
with lifestyle factors like sleep patterns and study habits?
