UIS KL CCA COACHING CONTRACT

This contract is prepared on 19th February 2024 between Miu2 Badminton Academy (here
in after referred to as The Coach/Instructor) and UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur
(here in after referred to as The School). The Coach/Instructor hereby agrees to the
following terms and conditions:

Commencement Date and Time:

3th January 2024 and will continue to operate until the end of term which is on 26th March
2024 as per the attached CCA Schedule. The CCA will run on the confirmed day(s) which is
either Tuesday, or/and Wednesday or/and Thursday.

The School has the right to make changes to the above schedule or cancel any session at any
time. The School will notify The Coach in advance about the changes or cancellation.

Fee
1) A total sum of Three Hundred Ringgit (RM 300.00) per student will be paid for Term
2 (23rd January 2024 to 26th March 2024) to the Coach/Instructor with a total of 10
sessions.
2) The Coach/Instructor will submit an invoice on 29th February 2024 (Forth End Week
of CCA) according to the amount stated.

Duties and Responsibilities (External Provider/s)

1) The coaching/instructional programme must be in line with the vision, mission, and
essential qualities of our institution.
2) The Coach/Instructor is in charge of the club's overall coaching/instructional
programme.
3) Before club coaching/instruction begins, the external provider is required to share
with the school the complete lesson plans for each training session.
4) Provides consistent Coach/Instructor for the training.
5) If for some reason the Coach/Instructor is unable to come for coaching/instructional,
The Coach/Instructor is expected to send a replacement so that the weekly
coaching/instructional sessions are not interrupted. The replacement sent has to be
of equivalent coaching/instructional standard with the Coach/Instructor. Otherwise,
the payment will be adjusted to what is due to the assistant Coach/Instructor. The
 School must be informed via email and a confirmation form The School must be
given before any coaching/instructional session begins due to the said replacement.
6) Actively collaborates with the school to provide parents and students with links to
extra resources and/or support.
7) Encourages any relevant competition/tournaments for students to participate but
the Coach/Instructor are required to train the students.
8) Coach/Instructor is required to request permission from the school prior to signing
up the students for any competitions/tournaments.
9) Ensuring that the training, materials, and equipment are safe for the students.
10) Extra coaching/instructional done on days other than the stipulated dates must be
approved by the school. The School must be informed via email in advance of these
extra coaching/instructional sessions. Registration form for such extra
coaching/instructional can only be distributed to the student upon approval from
The School. The Coach/Instructor will be fully responsible for the students during
such extra coaching/instructional sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities (UCSI International School Kuala Lumpur)

1. The school assigns a liaison who is in charge of all organisational tasks and
responsibilities associated with running the club as well as manages communication
between the school and the Coach/Instructor.
2. Always uphold your obligation to look out for the students.
3. Ensuring that a member of the assigned teaching staff is present throughout the
training session of the clubs.
4. The assisting teaching staff is responsible for the student attendance, punctuality,
discipline and behaviour throughout the training sessions.
5. Offers a secure and wholesome learning environment.

Confidentiality

1) The Coach/Instructor shall not at any time divulge to any third party any information
regarding this Contract or any other information of a confidential nature of The
School.

Termination of Service

1) The School shall have the right to terminate the service of the Coach/Instructor
forthwith any event:

a) Of gross misconduct, wilful negligence or being in breach of any of the terms of

 this contract;
b) Of not performing the duties to the satisfaction of the School; or
c) Of being unable to perform according to the terms of the Contract on account of
illness or other incapacity for a period of one (1) month.
d) Of being convicted of criminal offences or material civil offences.
e) Of any other reasons due to management decisions.

2) Notice of termination in writing due to the above by The School shall be one (1) week.

3) The School and the Coach/Instructor can submit a non-renewal notification two (2) weeks
before the end of the calendar year.

Liability

1. The Coach/Instructor shall bear all liabilities and damage in breach of this contract.

By signing, you here agree to the terms and conditions above and enter into a binding
contract.
