I. Objectives:
At the end of the 45 minutes discussion, the Grade 6 students should be able
to:
 Evaluate an expression with more than two operations with or without
exponents and parenthesis/grouping symbols
 Show cooperation when working in teams
 Practice honesty in doing one’s work

without exponents and parenthesis/grouping symbols

C. Materials: White board, White board marker, Visual Aids

 The teacher will let the students do a Zumba to boost energy
and create a good ambiance before starting the class.
C. LESSON PROPER
a. ACTIVITY
 - The teacher will conduct an activity called WORD SEARCH.
Students will encircle each words diagonally, horizontally, or
vertically.

b. ANALYSIS
 What words were you able to form?
 Give the meaning of each word.
c. ABSTRACTION
 Study and discuss the rules in the order of operation.
d. APPLICATION
 Simplify each expression and complete the cross-number puzzle.
D. GENERALIZATION:
 What rule would you follow in evaluating expressions with more tan two
operations? State the Rule.

IV. EVALUATION
