The two pie charts give information on proportion of UK students, studying

at particular English university, who were able to speak other languages than
English in the years of 2000 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen, that the proportion of monolingual students
decreased significantly, while other proportions of students, who were conversant
in other languages, apart from French, saw a marked increase.
In 2000 percentage of students, speaking only English was equal to 20%.
However, by a decade later this proportion had fallen to half this amount.
Similarly, the proportion of students who had spoken in French also decreased
from 15% to 10%.
On the other hand, percentage of students, speaking in Spanish, another and
two other languages had seen a noticeable increase from 30%, 15%, 10% in 2000
respectively to 35%, 20% and 15% in 2010. Interestingly, the proportion of
students with German language remained stable during both years.
