practice etc., specific to explosives; these regulations

and codes shall be viewed, keep a copy of it, and

There are Statutory Regulations laid down by Egyptian ‫ن‬LP‫ﺑ‬ ‫ ت ا‬$ ‫ ا‬, Z‫ و‬1, ‫ ا‬N N J ‫وھ ك ا ا ا‬
Authorities regarding the purchase, importation and
O ^ +5 f ‫ ل‬B ‫ ا‬%* .‫* ات‬+, ‫ اول ا‬5‫ اد و‬,/‫ اء وإ‬M
handling of explosives. Details of these regulations
shall be obtained from the Concerned Department ‫* ات‬+, ‫ ام ا‬.,/‫ إ‬% ,5 ‫ أي‬1G ‫ ا ِ! ء‬O!A ‫ھ ه ا ا‬
prior to the start of any operation requiring the use of . UG‫ ا‬,
explosives and will be complied with.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES ‫و ت‬# ‫ ا‬.٤

for the mobilization, transport, storage, use of
explosives within his Area of responsibility.
5. TRANSPORTATION OF EXPLOSIVES ‫ات‬ ‫ ا‬0 ‫ ﻧ‬.٥
5-1 Introduction ١- ٥
PETROSANNAN have a duty of care which means that f %* SN‫ أ‬1 h ‫( وا ي‬ ‫ ا‬% ‫)وا‬ ‫ ن‬/‫ و‬,‫ﺑ‬
it should take all steps which are reasonably possible ‫ ن‬E ‫ ل‬J O4P‫ ﺑ‬4 ‫ات ا‬ .‫ ا‬D .,5 ‫ = أن‬P ‫ا‬
to ensure employees health and safety. . , '/‫ و‬+‫ ا ظ‬B^
BUT other Regulations concerning the transport of
explosives clearly state that the Driver, Master or Pilot ‫ ح أن‬Z ‫ ﺑ‬h 5 ‫* ات‬+, ‫ ا‬OJ ‫ ﺑ‬J , ‫ ى ا‬I)‫ ا ا ا‬4 ‫و‬

of the mode of transport in question is responsible for

his load and must therefore ensure it complies with

A warning of an emergency shall be posted on the

It should be the practice of PETROSANNAN not to

when they are immediately required and on ‫ُ<ال‬5‫ و‬O ‫ا‬ ‫ ء‬,N ‫ا‬ ‫ راً و‬G ‫ﺑ‬ ‫ ن‬45
