Reason for modification:

The first cranes were inadvertently equipped with wall-mountable aerials; this type of aerial
does not provide proper sealing.
If water enters it may cause damage to the electronic componentry.

Cranes concerned:
AC 60, 80001 – 80031 + 80034 + 80035

Projected labour:
Labour time: 1 hrs Travelling time: as required, but max. 8 hrs

1. Administrative course of action:

Settlement of costs:
The costs incurred will be reimbursed by Demag Mobile Cranes GmbH & Co. KG, however,
exclusive of any consequential costs and loss of profits.
Settlement shall be made through warranty; invoices from companies involved in performing
outsourced work for the said modification shall be addressed to:

Foreign subsidiaries and dealers shall make the handling through warranty.
Settlement/warranty handling can only be implemented as soon as the first page of this bulle-

Modification instructions:
Remove aerial base, apply sealing compound (e.g. Loctite 5910, or similar) and refit.
Please read sealant manufacturer’s instructions carefully prior to assembly.
