INSTRUCTION
Record yourself and comment on the following statements:
1. Teachers are more important today in a child's education than their parents.
2. It is easier to be a grandfather than a father.
3. Parents are not as strict as they used to be.

MARKO:
1. I think that is largely true, since most of the time children live with their teachers at
school, learning something new every day and cementing their future in values.
Both parents and teachers are important in a child's education, and their
collaboration is essential to ensure optimal growth and development.

2. I believe that it is largely false, since the father's training towards his son is
influenced by his grandparents, and the upbringing that he had from a young age is
important for his subsequent teaching to the following generations.

3. I think this is largely true, since traditional parenting was more oriented toward
physical punishment and righteousness in day-to-day behavior, but with the passage
of time it has been lost and new ways of parenting with children have been adapted.

DENISSE:
1. Parents remain fundamental in their children's education, providing not only
emotional support, but also values, norms, and experiences that influence children's
development. However, teachers also play a crucial role in providing academic
knowledge, social skills, and educational support.

2. This statement may be true in some respects. Being a grandparent may involve
fewer direct responsibilities in the daily upbringing of children, which could be
perceived as easier compared to being a parent. Grandparents often enjoy a more
relaxed and loving relationship with their grandchildren, without the pressure of
having to set and enforce strict rules.

3. In my opinion modern parents are less strict due to a change in attitudes towards
parenting, focusing more on open communication, emotional support and
encouraging children's personal development. However, others might argue that
there are still parents who are very strict in their parenting approaches, depending on
factors such as education, religion and personal beliefs.

YAMILÉ:
1. The importance of teachers and parents in a child's education can vary depending on
several factors, such as family structure, school environment, and interpersonal
relationships. Both play fundamental and complementary roles in a child's
development and learning. Teachers provide academic knowledge, social skills, and
guidance, while parents provide emotional support, family values, and behavioral
modeling.

2. The experience of being a grandparent may be different from that of being a parent in
many ways, but not necessarily easier. Grandparents enjoy spending quality time
with each other without the same daily responsibility that comes with parenthood,
and they may also face concerns about the health or well-being of their
grandchildren. Additionally, each person can have a different and unique experience
as a grandparent.

3. I think some parents can take a more flexible and collaborative approach with their
children, prioritizing open communication and mutual understanding over rigidity and
authority. However, this does not mean that all parents are less strict today, as
parenting practices can vary considerably between families and cultural contexts.
