Physically Impaired Games

I. Title

 Wheelchair Basketball

II. Materials Needed

 Baskets, balls, wheelchairs (if no wheelchairs are available, chairs or


scooters can be used), cones

III. Directions on How to Play The Game

 The sport is very similar to regular basketball. The court, the hoop and
the backboard are all the same dimensions. Each team has 12 players
and only five on court at any point in time. The objective is to score as
many baskets as possible within four periods of 10 minutes each.
Players use small and lightweight wheelchairs and usually comes with
one or two smaller wheels at the front, this is to provide balance and
stability. They’re also strapped into the chair to allow them to be agile
while in the chair.

 Para Swimming

II. Materials Needed

 Bibs (if not available, a non-slip shirt or T-shirt can be used)

 Cushion material about 1–2 cm thick (a soft sponge where the finger
touches the bottom when it is pressed is not acceptable; here a 1.5-
cm-thick cushion spread on the floor is used)
 Two pieces of elastic cord at least 2.5 cm wide and about 50 cm long
(here 4-cm-wide suspenders are used)

III. Directions on How to Play The Game

 Para-swimmers follow slightly modified rules of mainstream


swimming. Athletes perform the standard stroke/s of their disciplines
(Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly, Breastroke and Medley events, to the
best of their ability.

II. Materials Needed

 Bibs (if not available, a non-slip shirt or T-shirt can be used)

III. Directions on How to Play The Game

 In goalball, two teams of three players each face each other across a
court that is nine meters wide and 18 meters long. The object of the
game is to roll a basketball size ball with bells inside over the
opponent's goal line. Your opponents listen for the oncoming ball and
attempt to block it with their bodies.

Hearing Impaired Games

I. Title

 The Giant Ball

II. Materials Needed

 One Giant ball for each group


III Directions on How to Play the Game

 Each group should have 10 members. All together by groups located in


different places of the room. The game consists of while moving the
ball to prevent it from falling to the ground. Firstly, it is necessary to
remember the place where it is intended to be carried.
