16 Electrical System

General Notes

The following items should be included in the price.

A Contactor shall obtain authorities approvals during construction stage, preparing all official
submissions
B Contactor shall review all drawings, preparing shopdrawings, MEP composite, as built drawings
and all official submissions.
C All related civil and mechanical works which are necessary for complete the installation are the
responsibility of the contractor.
D
The drawings’ details are for guidance only; the contractor is responsible for all sizing,
calculations, coordination with other trades,. ..etc., and all necessary ancillary works and
accessories required for complete installation as per drawings and specs.
E All decorative lighting fixtures will be supplied by owner and installing as per ID
recommendations and selection by Electrical contractor.
F Lighting and Power systems calculations (LUX, V.D, S.C, Selectivity, Cable tray filing ratio,
Earthing, Lightning…..) should be submitted and approved by consultant engineer.

Contactor shall review and check KNX actuators channel size and ampere rating in distribution
boards, Sensors and touchscreens options to meet recommendation of equipments supplier
and consultant.
H Panels busbar rating should be larger than circuit breaker rating after derating factors as per
supplier derating table and loads.
I The contractor is required to supply all materials and equipment necessary to finalize the work
whether mentioned or not mentioned in the bill of quantities.

The work mentioned here shall include supply, erection, termination, installation, routing cable
tray, cable trench completing with necessary accessories, testing and commissioning of all the
items according to the applicable specifications, code, Electrical authority requirements,
telecom authority requirements, environmental limitation and as shown on the project
drawings.
