Subject: Statement of Purpose for Participation in Model United Nations and Youth
Parliament

Respected School Cultural Coordinator,

I am writing to express my fervent interest in participating in the Youth Parliament event which
is to be organized by the university. As aspiring global citizen and advocate for positive change,
I believe these platforms offer unparalleled opportunities for intellectual growth, skill
development, and meaningful engagement with pressing societal issues.

To innumerate my experiences in this, I mention a few-

My academic background in political science, combined with my extracurricular involvement in

debating and community services in NSS. Being a NSS B certificate holder has equipped me
with the necessary knowledge, skills and passion to make meaningful contribution to the youth
parliament event. Through researching, drafting resolutions, and engaging in negotiations, I aim
to enhance my understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the complexities of
global issues.

As a participant, I am eager to contribute to constructive debates on pertinent national issues,

propose innovative solutions, and collaborate with fellow delegates to address societal
challenges. In conclusion, I am wholeheartedly committed to utilizing the platforms of Youth
parliament to broaden my perspective, refine my skills, and contribute to positive change on a
national level.
