Abstract
The Addis Ababa Science and Technology University Chemical Engineering Association
(AASTU CEA) is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting academic excellence,
professional development, and community engagement within the field of chemical engineering.
Our mission is to provide a platform for students to enhance their knowledge and skills through
various educational and networking opportunities.
Through workshops, seminars, and guest lectures, AASTU CEA aims to bridge the gap between
theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of chemical engineering. We also
strive to foster a sense of camaraderie among students by organizing social events, community
service projects, and industry visits.
As an active member of AASTU CEA, students have the opportunity to collaborate with peers,
faculty members, and industry professionals to gain valuable insights into the latest trends and
advancements in chemical engineering. By participating in research projects, competitions, and
conferences, members can further develop their technical skills and expand their professional
network.
We have noticed a decline in the number of students enrolling in the Chemical Engineering
program, and we believe that forming an association will not only help address this issue but also
create a vibrant and engaging community for chemical engineering students. This proposal
outlines the methodology, mission, vision, and values of the proposed association.

History
The Club of Chemical Engineers Association is a newly established organization, founded in
March of 2024 by a group of passionate and driven students. With a shared enthusiasm for
chemical engineering, these students recognized the need for a dedicated community that could
provide support, networking opportunities, and professional development resources. Motivated
by their vision, they came together to create the Club of Chemical Engineers Association.
Although it is still in its early stages, the club has already begun making strides towards its goals.
By organizing regular meetings, workshops, and events, the association aims to foster a
collaborative environment where members can enhance their knowledge, exchange ideas, and
build meaningful connections within the field. As the club continues to grow, it aspires to
become a hub for aspiring chemical engineers, offering a platform for learning, mentorship, and
career advancement. With its fresh perspective and enthusiastic membership, the Club of
Chemical Engineers Association is poised to make a significant impact on the future of the
profession.
