New York State Office of Children and Family Services Trainings - July 2020 to
further develop my teaching skills in a variety of topics and make me a better educator.
Faculty Meetings - January, February, March, April 2024 During these meetings all
teachers met to discuss the standards they would be assessing students on in the
following year and ways to improve curriculum for the school. They also discussed new

teacher from grades K-3 meets to discuss standards of subjects, upcoming events, and
Initial CSE Meeting - January 2024 During this meeting the general education teacher,

general education teacher, principal, and school psychologist met with a student’s
parents to discuss matters of their elevated behavior from recent weeks. They took
suggestions from parents, offered support outside of the classroom, and made a plan to
Professional Development Day - March 2024 This day included a violence in the
workplace training that is now being required of New York State schools. There were
also curriculum meetings held throughout the day that allowed for teachers in the same
grade and cluster to work together and plan for the upcoming months and assessments.

Annual IEP Meeting - April 2024 This meeting was attended by the special education
teacher, and parents. It was an annual review of the students' IEP. Modifications were
made on his IEP to reflect what changes have occurred this year. There were also goals
set by all teachers to work for the next school year. They allowed time for parent input
RTI Meeting - April 2024 This meeting was attended by the principal, some special
education teachers, some general education teachers, the school social worker, and
psychologist. This was an intervention for an older student with a tough home life that
was having emotional troubles. Many interventions were planned to start as early as the
next day.
