I. Interview Through LMS

During this session, a short interview in regards


to the current status of the tutee’s current
reading abilities has been made. The tutee, with
the assurance of his mother, told that he already
knows how to read using both the English and
Filipino language. However, he told that he is
more proficient in reading by using the Filipino
language, he is not yet confident enough to say
that he can read using the English language
quite well.

Aside from this short background in regards to


the tutee’s current reading skills, a few questions
were also asked to build rapport and connection
with both the parent and the tutee. The tutee
was asked about his interests so that it can be
utilized and be a crucial factor in formulating
meaningful and engaging activities. The parent
was also asked about the tutee’s learning
background, and if ever there has been
identified difficulties in certain areas that are in
need of interventions.

II. Reminders

As the first session come near to its end, few


reminders and clarifications were stated. The
finalization of the tutoring session’s schedule
was discussed, along with the request for
signing the consent form, which was sent
virtually through the messenger app.

Mechanics:
The teacher will ask the student to bring an
object, every object that the student has
successfully brought, the student gains 1 point.
The round will begin with the teacher saying,
"Bring me..." followed by the object. If the
student fails to bring the object within 10
seconds, the student will get 0 points. The

Since this was the last session for us to conduct

II. Sharing of Insights and Reflections about the


Program
As both the tutor and the tutee, along with the
learner’s parent, bid their farewell with one
another, a few sharing and recollection of
memories shared throughout the tutorial
program was discussed. An overall general
assessment was also given by the teacher in
order to provide a stepping stone in which the
parent can utilize their child’s strengths in
