WEEKLY NARRATIVE REPORT

Elementary School

The session in the EDSES started with an energizer of "Pag-ibig tulad ng Batis,"

led by Teacher Jewel and Teacher Khate. Because there is only a limited number of

students again, I was paired again with Teacher Jewel, and luckily our mentee Alexis

came back and was assigned to us again. I noticed in our last session that Alexis has

some difficulties with his vocabulary, so I prepared worksheets about synonyms. After

some time, Alexis finished the worksheet, and we checked it, and he got 4 out of 12. The

score is low, but it did not discourage Alexis from learning. After we checked his score,

we had some processing wherein I explained what synonyms are and what words are

synonyms for each other. We also processed his wrong answers in the worksheet so that

the synonyms in the worksheet would be more familiar to him. I also noticed that Alexis

can much better understand our processing parts when I translate the words and their

meaning into Tagalog. Our time went by and it is time to say our goodbyes, me and

Teacher Jewel helped Alexis to put his things in his bag and told him to come back again

so that he can learn much more from us.
