Today we’re going to have a game. I’m
going to show you a picture of different
activities and you are going to identify what it
shows. Just raise your hands if you know the

4. Presentation of the lesson

different picture that I showed a while ago.
Who among you experience flying kites?
I experience it when I was young
When is it good to fly kites?

Correct! Sun is shining, clouds are
slightly dark or clear and the rain is blowing
hard.

What do you think is the weather outside


when the sun cannot be seen and plenty of
slightly dark clouds are in the sky? It’s cloudy day.

That’s right!
But after this when the sun cannot be seen and
clouds darken, what do you think will happen
next? It will rain.

Farmers also plant their crops during this


season because it will be easy for the farmers
to cultivate the fields when it is muddy. But is
it good to stay outside during rainy season?
When it is rainy days we should stay inside our
house to avoid sickness.

But when the rain did not stop, lightning


and thunder occurs, strong wind blows and the
street is flooded, what can be the weather?

It is stormy day.

If the sun cannot be seen, the clouds are dark

If the sun is shining, the air is warm, and the


Cloudy day? wind is weak.

If the sun cannot be seen and there are plenty


of slightly dark clouds, but the rain is not

If the sun is shining, clouds are slightly dark or


clear, and the air is blowing hard.
Stormy day?

If the sun cannot be seen, the rain did not stop,


lightning and thunder occurs, strong wind
blows and the street is flooded.

E. Application
The class will be divided into 2 groups.
Each group will be given a graphic organizer.
They will fix the picture puzzle of different
weather and its name and put it on the given (Class will be divided into groups.)
board. The fastest group will be given a
reward.

IV. Evaluation:
A. Draw the weather. Describe each weather condition by drawing them in each box. You work
will be graded according to the criteria below.
