TAKA is a Managing Consultant (Burem Business

Forensics in South Africa). He is a consultant in Fraud Risk
particularly in Insurance fraud, occupational fraud,
(financial fraud and fraud occupational investigations), Enterprise risk Management,
corporate governance, Finance and Accounting. He does management training to
directors and senior managers in Fraud Risk, Finance & Accounting, Corporate
governance and Financial Modelling. He is a contract lecturer at Pearson University for
the past 5 years & he is a consultant for the National Treasury of South Africa, where he is
a recognized consultant in Public Finance – Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA).

Prior to 2011, TAKA joined CFX Commercial Bank rising to the position of Finance and
Administration Manager. Before that he worked as an Investment/Business Analyst at
Century Investment Bank and as a Financial Accountant at Leasing Company of
Zimbabwe (LCZ).

TAKA has a Master of Science in Finance and Investment (NUST: 2006), Bachelor of
Accounting Science, Honours in Financial Reporting (UNISA: 2012), Bachelor of Business
Studies Honours in Finance (UZ: 2002), Master of Philosophy in Forensic Auditing; Fraud Risk
Management (University of Pretoria: 2019) Chartered Company Secretary (ACIS Zim:
2006) and Certified Fraud Examiner with (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in USA:
2021). Present studies PhD (C’) in Forensic Fraud at University of Pretoria.

He is currently serving as an independent consultant in special poverty eradication

projects (Namibia), financial modeling and Project Reporting with Government of
Namibia, Universal Coal (SA), Central Bank of Lesotho- Asset Management and Fleet
Management, National Election Commission of Sudan – Risk Management Policy,
National Housing Commission South Africa – Finance Policy).

He is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Risk Management in South

Africa (IRMSA), Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe and
Registered Public Accountant (P Acc Z)) of Zimbabwe, Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners (CFE, Global and SA charter), South African Institute of Public Accountants
(SAIPA)

Aspirations: to improve the Standard of Living of the peoples of SADC, through promoting
macro-economic initiatives and advisory to the SADC Governments.
