5 Minutes Introduction:
- Take the roll.
- Ensure students’ are sitting in their assigned seating arrangements
- Explain how we do not need to complete Nutrition, and that we will be caught
and moving onto Puberty

Focus Questions; (FIRST ACTIVITY)


- What is Puberty?
- How is puberty different between males and females?
7 minutes  First Activity – Swear Words (Comfort Wall) Marker
- Go around the class and write words relating to puberty that might be a little
crude. Whiteboard
- Make sure students aren’t too expressive (Only choose words that will be
common in class)
- Make sure the words relate to puberty.
- IF students feel too immature or cause too much chaos, write words on the
board and get them to read them out together.
- After this, get students to build a padlet account. Go through as a class and
form an account
5 minutes  Second Activity – B&A Handout + Video (Wellcast – All About Boys Marker
Puberty)
- Before the video, get two students to volunteer handing out the B&A sheet of Projector
Boys & Puberty
- Give students’ 5 minutes to briefly write an answer for all the questions. YouTube Video -
- If a student doesn’t know any answer, encourage them to write one to the best Wellcast – All
of their abilities. About Boys
- Watch the YouTube video “Wellcast – All About Boys Puberty”. Puberty
 As the video plays – walk around the class and encourage students to answer

10 minute  Third Activity – Boys’ & Puberty Readings Marker
- As a class, read through and abbreviate the booklet.
- Teachers will guide learn by taking notes and telling students to write certain Padlet
things into their padlet.
- Teachers help students answer question into the following two heading; OneNote - Term
 Male Physical Changes in Puberty 2 Week 1
 Emotional Changes in Puberty
- Teach can provide examples and walk around helping students fill out their
padlet sheet
5 minutes Finish
- Tell students next week will be moving into Female & Puberty
- If students didn’t finish booklet, continue next week.
- CFU by re-asking the focus questions at start
- Next week, students will be sharing their padlet with the teacher (myself)
