I. RATIONALE

Based on the observation from the past academic years, most students of this institution were having a hard time in reading and in comprehending. The
students are identified as non-readers, and slow readers and this result to failing grades, dropping out, and losing interest in going to school. In line with the
DepEd slogan “Education for All”, intervention program for students with Learning Difficulties is purposely promulgated to enhance the students’ skills in
reading, writing, and comprehending, and no students will be left behind. This is also to avoid no failures and no drop outs that will happen within the school
year.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. To Increase the students’ reading competence, reading comprehension skills, writing skills and vocabulary.
2. To conduct remedial classes for students who are absent within the week.

III. TARGETED PARTICIPANTS

1. Students with difficulty in reading, writing, and comprehending.


2. Students who are absent within the week with valid reason.

IV. INTERVENTION STRATEGIES

1. Giving Remedial Classes for students with learning difficulties


2. Giving Remedial Classes for absentees of the week.
3. Scheduling remedial classes every once a week.
4. Monitor and evaluate the students’ performance
