1. Give at least 5 resources in the community where your school is located.
a. Human Resource – such as the staff, teachers, head and other stakeholders
b. School Environment – Such as gymnasium, classrooms, etc.
c. Living resource – such as domestic livestock and the like
d. Local environment – Local Government support
e. Materials/Equipment – School materials and equipment such as blackboards,
desk etc.
4. What are the rules/norms and traditions practiced by the community that help the
school attain its objectives?
The community has a strong foundation and belief that education is one of the
most important foundations that should be taken seriously. Thus it has provided
assistance for students and the school itself as well and greatly helped in the
development of education in the community.

1. What have you learned? List down the important learning points that you have
gathered from the session.
I have learned that the stakeholders have their own part and functions to
maintain the balance in school and community relations. They serve as the key players
in order to keep the goals and objectives attained. The key components should be
comprehensive integration, Prevention, Collaborative Partnerships and Local decision-
making. Collaborative partnerships could include agencies and organizations focused
on providing programs for education, literacy, youth development etc.
I consider these learning points important as the partnership between school and
community is greatly needed to achieve the best educational experience of students.
With school and community connections, existing resources are used and generated,
communication is improves , there is coordination, planning, networking and mutual
support, building a sense of community.
