1. Scope

1.1 This specification is provided by Hengtong Optic-Electric Co.,Ltd(HTGD) ,it shall be as the
technical part of contract.

1.2 This specification describes the minimum requirements for the design, manufacture and
test of Aluminum Conductors, Coated Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and our offer is based on
this specification.

2. Normative references

The design, materials and tests of the conductors shall conform generally to the following standards, in
case of conflict, the requirements of this specification shall be taken precedence over the following
normative documents :

IEC 61089 Round wire concentric lay overhead electrical stranded conductors

IEC 60889 Hard-drawn aluminum wire for overhead line conductors

IEC 60888 Zinc coated steel wires for stranded conductors

IEC 61394 Characteristics of grease for aluminum, aluminum alloy and steel bare conductors

5. Inspection

All inspections and tests shall be made at the plant of HTGD unless mutually agreed between the plant
and the purchaser at the time of purchase and shall be so conducted as not to interfere unnecessarily with
the plant's operations. The plant shall afford the inspector , representing the purchaser, all necessary and
sufficient testing facilities in order to satisfy him that the material is being furnished in accordance with
this specification.

6. Packaging and package marking

6.1 The conductors shall be supplied wound on suitable non-returnable drums. The last layer of
conductors shall have a waterproof film and the drums shall be covered with wooden batten to provide the
conductors with physical protection during transportation and during ordinary storage and handling
operations.

6.2 The package marking shall appear on the outside of each drum according to the requirement of
purchaser.
