Why I didn’t miss school for 2

months.
I didn’t miss my school for two months even I didn’t go for a single day because the school had
started virtual classes that too in a very interactive way. This made me feel as I was in school. It’s
impossible for me to forget my school days as we get to meet with our friends, we used to study and
play altogether but the whole world is now in the clutches of this life-threatening pandemic ‘COVID-
19’. It has caused millions of patients worldwide, many of them loose their so precious lives. Covid-
19 forces governments to take preventing steps. The most important one is LOCKDOWN. We all are
in lockdown far away from glitz and glamour of outside world and its business. Staying in home and
spending quality times with family. We are involved in the act that we thought that could be a part
of outside world. Studying from home is one of them.

We all had seen some adults doing work from home occasionally but had we ever heard that schools
organizing online classes for their students? This lockdown has made even this possible.

The schools are now organizing online classes for their students, that also in a very good and
effective way so that students can learn their chapters. The students now feel as they are in the
classrooms because of hard efforts that teachers make for the students like making ppt’s of syllabus
and searching videos on the same topic and then referring them to the students. It has also been
possible because of various online meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google
Hangout and many more. There are various ways to clear the doubts of students like raising hands,
video option to let everyone see each other and chat box is also there.

Schools also have made the necessary arrangements to take online test. This made the obligatory for
students to revise their chapters. Schools also publish the individual scores after the test. My School
also organised some extra curriculum activities which made these classes more interesting. Everyone
enjoyed them. Also, this ensures that when this pandemic is over and the school reopens, the class
can run in a smooth manner and there will be no burden on students and teachers to complete the
syllabus.

In the nutshell, I w say that this whole lot is happening in a very interactive way, I had never
imagined that classes can function in a virtual way, I am so grateful to have a school like this and I
think that although I am not present in classroom physically but am present mentally.
