My first day of In-house on the Job Training at the Legal Office in School together with my
classmates Chrisha Yanga, Mikylla Lahi and Ren Ren Lamani and the assigned teacher in the
Legal Office sir Edgard Atilano. This was my first day, the start of an incredible journey, and I
couldn’t wait to see where it would lead me. My day began with an evaluation, a thorough run-
through of my responsibilities and the DO’s and DON’T’s during work hours this evaluation
provide me with a clear understanding of my role and expectation to tied to it.

Following the evaluation my first task was to clean the office area. Cleaning the office wasn’t
just about maintaining a tidy workspace but it was about taking responsibility, showing respect
the environment and cleanliness is important for we able to do our work comfortable it may have
been a small task, but it was a meaningful way for me to contribute to the office. As I finished
cleaning and look around the now spotless office, I felt a sense of accomplishment. I was ready
to take on the rest of the day, ready to embrace the learning awaited.

As I walked into the Legal Office on my second day of training, first and foremost I greet sir
Edgard Atilano by saying “ hello! Good morning sir” I just wanted to take a moment to say hello
and express my excitement to be here for my on-the-job training. I’m really looking forward to
learning from you and gaining valuable experience in the legal field. Thank you for having me as
part of the team!. Today’s tasks involved organizing and managing the paperwork, ensuring that
everything was in its proper place. I began by sorting through stacks of paper, carefully setting
aside any unused sheets that makes easier to find the papers needed.

Next, I moved on to labeling the documents that were being used. With a label maker in hand, I
created clear and concise label for each file. This simple act of organization not only made it
easier to locate specific documents but also ensured that everything was properly categorized for
future reference. The second day of my training had taught me the significance of organization
and attention to detail in the legal profession. I was excited to continue my journey, eager to
absorb more knowledge and contribute further to the team.

Today was enlightening day as I had my in house on- the- job training at the school’s legal
office. We gathered as a team, which was unique experience as we were able to collaborate and
learn from each other in a real-world work environment. The day was filled with cycling tasks, a
method or a way we used to divide and rotate the work among us. This approach proved to be
quite beneficial as it allowed us to experience different aspects of the legal office operations. I
found it to be great way to understand the various roles and responsibilities within the office, and
it also gave me the opportunity to discover where my strengths lie.

The teamwork aspect of the day was particularly impactful. We all had the chance to contribute
our ideas and skills, and it was interesting to see how we all worked together to get the tasks
done. The rotation of work also ensured that everyone had a fair share of the workload and
learning opportunities.

Overall, it was an inspiring and educational day, I’m looking forward to more days like this,
where I can continue to learn and grow in this field.

This is the fourth day of my job training I had the opportunity to delve into the art of drafting of
legal documents. This was a crucial aspect of the job, as it required precision, attention to detail,
and a deep understanding of legal terminology. Under the guidance of my employer, who is an
experienced legal assistant, I observed how he meticulously constructed contracts, Memorandum
of Agreement (MOAs), and other legal documents. It was fascinating to witness the thought and
care that went into each word and phrase. Every sentence had to be carefully crafted to ensure
clarity and accuracy.

As I watched my employer work, I realized that legal document drafting is not just about
stringing words together; it is about conveying complex legal concepts in a concise and
understandable manner. The documents we draft have real-world implications and can
significantly impact the lives of our clients. Therefore, it is crucial to be meticulous and thorough
in our work.

Overall, my first serious work in the legal office as an on-the-job trainee allowed me to witness
the artistry involved in drafting legal documents. It was an invaluable experience that deepened
my understanding of the role of a legal assistant and sparked a passion for excellence in this
field.
