WHEREAS, the International Model United Nations (IMUN) is a
conference that brings youth together from around the world to learn and share
ideas from a diverse set of experiences and backgrounds where the Executive
Board, International Press, and International Delegates consolidate to learn
about diplomacy, International relations, and the United Nations;
WHEREAS, Ms. Beverly Jane T. Balagot is a delegate from the
Philippines to the International Model United Nations held at Hanoi, Vietnam on
March 11 to 14, 2023;
WHEREAS, Ms. Beverly Jane T. Balagot proudly performed a musical
piece in her ethnic attire during the Cultural Night Show and won as the Best
Performer;
WHEREAS, she also joined the IMUN Online Conference on February
18 to 19, 2023 where she was given a verbal commendation from the
Committee on United Nations Development Programme;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion unanimously seconded by all the
Members of the Council;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to congratulate BEVERLY JANE
T. BALAGOT for her successful participation in the conferences organized by
IMUN;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that this Resolution and a Certificate of
Appreciation be awarded to MS. BEVERLY JANE T. BALAGOT on any
occasion that befits conferment of the same.
