Memory Game Warm up
Objective:
The students will be able to associate by playing with a memory game the vocabulary of
the parts of the email (the sender, recipient, subject line, salutations, body, closing,
signature) including the name and image of each of them.
Time: 5 minutes
Procedure:
1. Students make 5 teams of 5 members.
2. The teacher will give each team a set of memory cards with the parts of the
email.
3. Students will play until all the pairs are found.
4. The student with more pairs wins.
Materials:
Memory game cards
Preparation:
If there’s not enough students, the teams will have less members.

Objective:
The students will be able to distinguish in listening on a video the vocabulary of clothing
(t-shirt, shorts, jeans, shirt, skirt, coat, dress, sweater, jacket and tie) including its name
and the pronunciation.
Time: 5 minutes.
Procedure:
1. The teacher will show students a video that presents the vocabulary of clothing.
2. Students will watch the video and will listen to the pronunciation of the
vocabulary presented.
3. Once they have listened once they will watch it again and will repeat after the
word is said.
Materials:
Video
Preparation:
If students need help recalling the names of the vocabulary, the teacher will help them.

Objective:

and a draw.
Time: 8 minutes.
Procedure:
1. The teacher will give students a worksheet.
2. Students will draw the clothes they learned (t-shirt, shorts, jeans, shirt, skirt, coat,
dress, sweater, jacket and tie).
3. Students will include the name of each clothing.
Materials:
Worksheet
Preparation:
If students don't remember the name of a cloth, the teacher will help them.

1. The teacher will present a PPP.
2. The teacher will say the name of the vocabulary.
3. At first students need to listen.
4. Once they have listened, the teacher will say the vocabulary again.
5. Students will repeat after him.

Preparation:
If students need help recalling the names of the vocabulary, the teacher will help them.

Procedure:
1. The students will write an email about inviting a friend to a party, where it’s
necessary to use a dress code and to bring food, using the vocabulary learned.
2. Students will need to use the structure of an email for writing it.
3. Once they finish writing it, the teacher will check them.
Materials:
None
Preparation:
The teacher will help the students if they have problems doing their email.

3. Students will give advice on how they can improve their emails.

Preparation:
As the students are shy to give advice, the teacher should encourage them to give one.
