Table 1.3 demonstrates that all the respondents agree that the odor/scent of the

soap, which is made of C. ternatea flowers is overall appropriate for a person to use

with a composite mean of 3.23.

In the table above, the perception of the respondents on the soap having a

comforting fresh floral scent has a weighted mean of 3.38 and is interpreted as “strongly

agree”, which means upon trying the soap, the respondents are satisfied with the

odor/scent it creates. Meanwhile, the indicator long-lasting scent and the indicator smell

like any other handwashing soap got an accepted perception from the respondents with

the weighted mean of 3.15 and 3.16 and is interpreted as “agree”. In the study

conducted by Rashid, et al., (2022) it was found out that the C. ternatea soap has a mild

floral scent that is a little bit sweet and has a very calming fragrance that is subtle but

conscious. With a light floral scent, the said creamy moisturizing soap will leave the skin

feeling fresh and clean. Very balancing, comforting, and sensual, and gas stated that it

is suitable for all skin types and has a soothing and calming effect on the skin.

Table 2.1 shows that all the respondents agree that the color of the soap, which

is made of C. ternatea flowers is overall appropriate for a person to use with a

composite mean of 3.24.

It can be gleamed in the table above, that the perception of the respondents on

the soap being appealing to eyes has a weighted mean of 3.02 and is interpreted as

"agree". The respondents are also delighted and satisfied with the color of the soap

being appropriate and for having a light/warm color with a weighted mean of 3.26 and

3.44 and both are interpreted as "strongly agree". The pigments of C. ternatea are

responsible for red, orange, blue, purple, and pink colors in plants, and often associated

with antioxidant properties (Smith M.L., 2022).
